Eden Property Co. (201-804-7744) announced that Tom Tourso joined the company and will be responsible for originating new acquisition and development opportunities. Tourso formerly worked for Garrick-Aug Associates.

Trammell Crow Co. (214-979-6100) announced that Jack Crews joined the company as senior vice president. The company also appointed Bob Hackett as principal of regional operations director for NJ, NY and the New England. Hackett will be responsible for working on corporate business generation and account management. Prior to joining Trammell Crow, Hackett served as a managing director at Cushman & Wakefield in NY. The company also promoted Joseph Callanan to regional director of the company’s Northeast region in a move that combines his existing management of the Mid-Atlantic and Philadelphia, PA areas with the company’s NJ, NY and New England offices. Callanan will be responsible for the overall management, profitability and growth of the newly-formed region. Callanan joined the company in March 2000 as head of sales in the Mid-Atlantic region and later moved to area director.

Edens & Avant (888-993-5566) promoted Keith Davidson to vice president of investments. Davidson will assume responsibilities for the company’s debt and capital transactions and for the acquisition and disposition of the company’s assets in the Southeast. Davidson joined Edens & Avant as director of investments in 1999. Prior to joining the company, Davidson served as senior analyst for development and acquisition ventures for Aronov Realty Management, Inc.

Rockwood Realty Associates (212-286-5800) appointed Craig Callaway associate vice president. He will be responsible for assisting in the underwriting and marketing of institutional quality commercial real estate assets. Callaway began his career as a staff appraiser for Callaway & Price, Inc. and sales associate for RJS Realty. Most recently, Callaway was a senior acquisition associate with Kroger Equity, Inc., where he was involved in underwriting of new acquisitions and financing. He was also in charge of preparing valuations for the disposition of assets in their portfolio as well as day to day financial analysis for the entire Kroger Equity and Crocker Realty Trust portfolios.

Crosland (704-561-5200) appointed Diane Ballard as director of property management, John Brunner as development manager and Greg Fallon as a leasing associate. Prior to joining Crosland, Ballard was the director of leasing for Inland Retail Real Estate Trust, handling a portfolio of over 10 million sq.ft. in 82 properties. Brunner previously worked with Little Diversified Architectural Consulting as a senior associate in the Workplace Practice Group. Fallon was previously with Queen Properties, where he was a commercial broker representing companies in purchasing, disposition and leasing. He also worked with Koger Equity, Inc., where he handled lease negotiations for 550,000 sq.ft. of office/retail space.

The Sembler Co. (727-384-6000) named Scott Makela a real estate manager, where he will be responsible for Eckerd locations throughout FL. Makela formerly was a broker at Michael Saunders & Co. The company also named Ron Sarrett a real estate manager. He will be responsible for site selection and development in FL. Prior to joining Sembler, Sarrett was director of retail development for Zaremba Development Group. Prior to that, he served as vice president of real estate for Kash N Karry.
