Konover Development Corp. is developing a 133,106 sq.ft. Home Depot store, which will anchor the Monadnock Marketplace located at routes 9-10-12 in Keene, NH this Summer. The center is expected to span 450,000 sq.ft. Opening of the Home Depot is expected during August. The store is expected to include an 18,711 sq.ft. garden center. The store’s rear section will feature "The Design Place," where customers can sit down and get advice on painting, wall and floor covering and fixing up their bath and kitchen areas. The center is expected to be tenanted by Borders Books & Music, Linens ‘n Things and N.H. Liquor Store. A second 54,000 sq.ft. building, also part of the first construction phase, will incorporate terra cotta, stucco and brick and have an arched entry that resembles the city’s former downtown train station.
