Playa Vista (310-689-7535) announced that Douglas Moreland will join the company as senior vice president of development. His responsibility will be to lead the Phase II entitlement process for The Village in Playa Vista, CA and plan and supervise the company’s public affairs and government relations efforts. Moreland spent the past 11 years at the Walt Disney Co. where he was responsible for setting entitlement strategy and leading teams on several projects, including creation of Disney’s technology creative campus and renovation of Edison Stadium in Anaheim, CA.

Erwin L. Greenberg Commercial Corp. (410-559-2500) named Kim Potember vice president/development director to oversee the company’s Hunt Valley Mall redevelopment. Her responsibilities include overseeing the design and construction process for the Hunt Valley Mall, obtaining the necessary entitlements and ensuring that the overall objectives for the project are met. Prior to joining Greenberg Commercial, Potember worked at The Rouse Co. for 19 years, where her last eight years were as development director.
