Lease Signings


Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (757-497-2113) signed a lease with Foot Locker for 3,200 sq.ft. in Northpointe Plaza on North Tryon Street in Charlotte, NC. Foot Locker will cotenant the center with Family Dollar, Big Lots and Holloways Clothing. The company currently operates more than 2,614 shoe stores nationwide. The company also signed a lease with Mid Atlantic Rental of VA, Inc. for 4,957 sq.ft. in New Market Square shopping center, which is located at 36 Newmarket Square South in Newport News, VA. The store, which specializes in the sale of jewelry, electronics and appliances, will join Food Lion, The Dump, Sally Beauty Supply, Rent-A-Center, Newport News Outlet and Hampton Roads School of Technology in the shopping center. In addition, the company signed a lease with Cost Plus World Market for 18,300 sq.ft. in Brookhollow East Shopping Center at 112000 West Broad Street in Richmond, VA.

First Interstate Properties (216-765-1065) signed leases with Viking Culinary Arts Center, Joseph Best Booksellers and Claddagh Irish Pub at the 615,000 sq.ft. Legacy Center being built in Lyndhurst, OH. The center is currently cotenanted by Galyan’s Trading Co., EXPO Design Center, The Cheesecake Factory, Crate & Barrel, Talbots, California Pizza Kitchen, BRIO, Z Gallerie, Atria’s Restaurant and Tavern, Stir Crazy, Coldwater Creek and Ann Taylor Loft. Viking Culinary Arts Center will occupy a space of 8,000 sq.ft., Joseph-Beth Booksellers will occupy a space of 26,000 sq.ft. and Claddagh Irish Pub will occupy 7,500 sq.ft.

Capital Realty Advisors, Inc. (561-624-5888) negotiated the following leases: 1,000 sq.ft. for three years to Cigarettes Cheaper at Plaza 50 Shopping Center, located at Highway 50 East in Carson City, NV; 1,500 sq.ft. for one year to Optical Outlets at Skyridge Plaza in Round Rock, TX and 4,000 sq.ft. to Only A Buck at Spring Park Plaza Shopping Center, located at the intersection of South Range Avenue and Interstate 12 West in Denham Springs, LA.

Cambridge Partners (704-731-5532) recently signed leases with the following retailers at Ayrsley retail center, located at the intersection of Interstate 485 and South Tryon Street in Charlotte, NC; 1,765 sq.ft. to Red Brick Pizza and 1,800 sq.ft. to Pan China.

BRE Commercial/NAI (858-546-5400) signed a lease with Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar for a second San Diego, CA location. The restaurant will occupy a space of 5,800 sq.ft. at 380 K Street. The property was leased for 120 months at a total consideration of $1,522,520.

Global Business Alliance, Inc. (407-383-7182) negotiated a 10-year lease for 1,273 sq.ft. with First Wok at the Publix at Military Crossing Shopping Center located in Greenacres, FL.

WindStar Properties (214-526-2700) completed a lease with Biomat USA, Inc. The space is located at Arlington Plaza Shopping Center at the intersection of Park Row and Cooper Street in Arlington, TX. Biomat USA, Inc. will be occupying 11,500 sq.ft. for a plasma donation center.

Colliers Arnold Commercial Real Estate Services, Inc. (813-221-2290) recently completed two sublease agreements for 29,000 sq.ft. of retail space at North Pointe Crossing Shopping Center on behalf of Kash ‘n Karry at 150 West Fletcher Avenue in Tampa, FL. The subtenants are Bealls Outlet, which will occupy 15,000 sq.ft. and Harbor Freight Tools, which will occupy 14,000 sq.ft. The subleases are valued at $1.5 million.

Stiles Retail Group (954-627-9377) signed leases with the following tenants: 1,600 sq.ft. for five years to Subway Real Estate Group at Hearthbrook Commons at 5400 Southeast College Road in Ocala FL; 1,050 sq.ft. for five years to Hong Qing Jiang Chinese restaurant at Park View Square shopping center at the intersection of Miramar Parkway and 172nd Avenue in Miramar and 1,600 sq.ft. to Kim’s Hair & Nails at North Hills shopping center at 4650 University Drive in Coral Springs, FL

Shary Thur & Associates (703-847-0865) represented Subway in the leasing of 1,395 sq.ft. in Tower III of Plaza America in Reston, VA. The ownership was represented by Insignia/ESG.

Staubach Retail Services (936-639-2976) negotiated a 12,000 sq.ft. lease for Shoe Carnival at Rio Del Norte Shopping Center located on Interstate 35 in Laredo,TX.

CBL & Associate Properties (423-855-0001) signed leases with Crisper’s Fresh Salads and Such, Boater’s World Marine Center, Woody’s Bar-B-Q, Beds for Less, Pearle Vision, Happy Nails Happy Feet and Sally Beauty Supply. The stores will occupy a space of 23,000 sq.ft. and will cotenant the shopping center with Beall’s, Publix supermarket, Ross Dress for Less, Michaels Arts and Crafts, Bed, Bath and Beyond and Pier 1 Imports. The stores are expected to open in May.
