Real Estate Professionals Making The News Crosland (704-529-1166) promoted Peter B. Pappas to president of the retail division, succeeding Alex Dmyterko, who has formed Dmyterko Enterprises in Chicago, IL. The company also promoted Susan S. McGuire to senior vice president of operations. Pappas has been with Crosland for almost 20 years and has participated in the development and leasing of more than 3.5 million sq.ft. McGuire has been with the company for eight years and has managed three million sq.ft. of shopping centers including developing and implementing leasing programs. Stirling Properties (985-898-2022) announced that Rhonda Sharkawy Pittman was recently honored by the New Orleans Metropolitan Association of Realtor’s Commercial Investment Division with the top retail sales award for 2002 for the second consecutive year. Earlier this year, Sharkawy Pittman was presented with the Most Commercial Transactions Award for 2002. She also was chosen by New Orleans City Business as one of the recipients for the 2003 Power Generation Award, an honor that is given to professional young achievers whose success in business and organizations set the pace for the future of the region. Sharkawy Pittman is a leasing and development executive for Stirling Properties. CB Richard Ellis Tucson (520-323-5100) announced a joint venture with M.A.S. Real Estate Services and Bancroft & Associates to provide asset management services in Tucson, AZ. The company will provide management services for commercial and multi-family clients. Mike Stilb will be the managing director and designated broker for CBRE Tucson and will be responsible for serving the needs of new commercial clients. Capital Lease Funding (212-217-6300) opened a new California office to manage the company’s credit tenant loan origination efforts and advisory services business in the state. The office is located at 23332 Mill Creek Drive, Suite 230 in Laguna Hills, CA and will be headed by Ken West. West spent eight years with Bank of America Commercial Finance Corp. and was most recently vice president for Capri Capital. He will focus on supporting CLF’s correspondents and clients in CA. West also will work with the company’s office in NY to provide solutions for borrower’s and investor’s CTL financing requirements. |
