Noddle Development Co. is redeveloping Southgate Shopping Center located at the intersection of Southgate Road and South Nevada Avenue in Colorado Springs, CO. The $14 million project will raze 80,000 sq.ft. of a former 140,000 sq.ft. center for the construction of new anchors and small shop space. Upon completion, the center will be renamed Broadmoor Towne Center North. The site will be architecturally similar to Broadmoor Towne Center, which is tenanted by Home Depot, Sears, Borders Books & Music, Bed Bath & Beyond, PetsMart, Ross Dress for Less, Michaels, Famous Footwear, Starbucks and Chipotle Grill. New tenants to Broadmoor Towne Center North will be Panera Bread, Noodles & Co., Bottles & Brew and Par Avion. When completed, the center will be nearly 650,000 sq.ft. Space is available from 1,400 sq.ft. to 50,000 sq.ft. Area demographics include a population of 203,326 within five miles earning $54,415 as the average household income.

IMC Construction is developing Centerton Square Shopping Center located at the intersection of Route 38 and Interstate 295 in Mount Laurel, NJ. The 84-acre site will include approximately 785,000 sq.ft. of retail, including a Target, Wegmans and numerous other national clients. Opening is slated for Fall 2004.

Tysons Corner Center and Wilmorite Properties, Inc. are planning to redevelop a former JCPenney building and expand the shopping center. The project calls for the addition of restaurants, a food court, retail stores and an 18-screen AMC Theatre, which will have stadium seating. The $100 million project is expected to begin during January 2004 with opening slated for August 2005. Following renovation, Tysons Corner Center will become the sixth largest mall in the U.S. The redevelopment and expansion will comprise a total of approximately 350,000 sq.ft. Tysons currently occupies 2.1 million sq.ft., has five department stores and more than 250 stores, restaurants and eateries. Anchors include Bloomingdale’s, Hecht’s, Lord & Taylor, Nordstrom and L.L. Bean. Recent tenants include Coldwater Creek, Teavana, Timberland, H&M, Swarovski and KFC/Taco Bell/Pizza Hut. The following stores will be coming soon to the center: Ann Taylor Loft, Brighton Collectibles, Chipotle, Dry Ice, Jendai, Inner Self and Talbots Mens.

Williams Realty Group is preleasing a center located at the intersection of East Carmel Drive and Rangeline Road in Carmel, IN with an average daily traffic count of 13,000 vehicles.
