Real Estate Professionals Making the News KKE Architects, Inc. (612-339-4200) was recently honored by the Minnesota Shopping Center Association for The Village of Blaine and Chaska’s Super Target in the category of Design and Aesthetics. The Shopping Center Tribute Awards for Retail Real Estate (STARR) recognize excellence in the retail and shopping center industry. The Staubach Co. (972-361-5063) tapped John Glatz as executive vice president and managing principal of the Midwest region. Glatz will oversee the day-to-day operations of Staubach’s retail offices in Chicago, IL and Minneapolis, MN as well as the midwest territory including IA, IN, MI, MO, NE, OH, SD and WI. Prior to joining Staubach, Glatz served as a chief operating office for JPA Real Estate in Oakbrook, IL where he directed the organization’s strategic planning and oversaw several major development projects for the firm. Glatz also led a six-member team as a director of mall development for McDonald’s Corp. Katz & Associates (845-735-6666) recently hired Jeffrey E. Bruk as director of real estate, New England. Prior to joining the company, Bruk worked for Finard & Co. as a leasing associate and vice president of the retail tenant division. He also worked for a major life insurance company on the disposition of a foreclosed center and renegotiated many of its leases. |
