Lease Signings


Excess Space Disposition, Inc. (516-365-6400) recently completed the following lease transactions: 12,274 sq.ft. to Hammond Fruit Ranch, Inc. as a sublease from Walgreens at 4510 Hohman in Hammond, IN; 10,000 sq.ft. to Nationwide Furniture as a sublease from Hancock Fabrics at 600 Southwest Highway 138 in Riverdale, GA; 13,000 sq.ft. to Fiesta One as a sublease from Walgreens at 1450 North 8th Street in Avondale, AZ; 17,838 sq.ft. to Future Distributors as a sublease from Gart Sporting Goods at 1050 East Golf Road in Schaumburg, IL; 7,606 sq.ft. to Dollar General as a sublease from Eckerd at 2531 East Ocean Boulevard in Stuart, FL; 11,165 sq.ft. to Family Dollar Store as a sublease from Walgreens at 938 Richards Road in Antioch, TN and 18,805 sq.ft. to The Rustic Warehouse, LLC as a sublease from Burlington Coat Factory at 13013 San Pedro Avenue in San Antonio, TX.

Levin Management Corp. (201-796-7788) signed leases with Claire’s Stores, Inc. and GameStop at Mayfair Shopping Center in Commack, NY. Claire’s will occupy 1,280 sq.ft. while GameStop will occupy 2,000 sq.ft.

Main Street Retail Services (925-299-8170) signed leases with House of Bagels and Pippen Hill on Park Street in Alameda, CA. House of Bagels will be located 1358 Park Street. Pippen Hill, which specializes in infant and children’s clothing and educational toys, signed a lease for 1,524 sq.ft. on 1356 Park Street. Both stores are scheduled to open during the Spring.

Madison Retail Group (202-730-2000) signed a lease with Zara at 1234 Wisconsin Avenue in Washington, DC. The 10,000 sq.ft. store is expected to open during the Summer. The company also signed a lease with United Colors of Benetton at 1666 Connecticut Avenue Northwest in Washington, DC. The 5,056 sq.ft. retail space will be jointly occupied by Sisly.

Schostak Brothers & Co. (248-262-1000) signed leases with Putting Edge, Cold Stone Creamery and House of Blinds and Drapery at Fountain Walk in Novi, MI. The stores will join The Bamboo Club, Shima Japanese Restaurant, Emagine Novi theater, Modern Skate & Surf, World Market, Buffalo Wild Wings and Galyan’s at the 737,000 sq.ft. project.
