Lease Signing


Noddle Development Co. (800-365-1616) signed the following leases: 7,000 sq.ft. with Family Dollar at Wauona Trail Shopping Center in Portage, WI; 12,151 sq.ft. with Dollar Tree at Yankton Plaza in Yankton, SD; 5,314 sq.ft. with Panera Bread and 3,150 sq.ft. with Noodles at Broadmoor Towne Center in Colorado Springs, CO; 8,772 sq.ft. with Dollar Tree at Fairmont Plaza in Fairmont, MN; 5,165 sq.ft. with Fuji Japanese Steakhouse and 16,400 sq.ft. with Dollar Tree at Plaza West in Mason City, IA.

First Interstate Properties (216-765-1065) signed the following leases at Legacy Village, a 615,000 sq.ft. center located in Lyndhurst, OH: 3,100 sq.ft. with Christopher & Banks, which offers sportswear and casual dresses, and 8,700 sq.ft. with The Bombay Co. for its first Bombay Kids store in northern OH. The center is cotenanted by Galyan’s Trading Co., EXPO Design Center, The Cheesecake Factory, Crate & Barrel, Talbots, California Pizza Kitchen, BRIO, Z Gallerie, Atria’s Restaurant and Tavern, Stir Crazy, Coldwater Creek, Ann Taylor Loft, Viking Culinary Arts Center, Joseph Beth Booksellers, Claddagh Irish Pub, Arhaus and Norwalk Design Studio.

Mid-America Real Estate Corp. (630-954-7300) signed the following leases: 2,000 sq.ft. with 3-Day Blinds at Fabyan and Randall Roads in Batavia, IL. The window coverings manufacturer is planning to open 15 stores this year and currently operates eight locations throughout the Chicago area; 3,694 sq.ft. with The Vitamin Shoppe at The Shoppes at Geneva Commons located at the intersection of Bricher and Randall Roads in Geneva, IL. Opening is slated for June. The Vitamin Shoppe currently operates six locations throughout the Chicago area.

Mall Properties, Inc. (212-935-1330) signed leases with the following retailers at Coliseum Square on Coliseum Drive in Hampton, VA: Mattress Discounters, Suits Unlimited, Smoothie King and El Azteca. The center is across from Coliseum Mall and has space of 1,950 sq.ft. available.

HSA Commercial (312-332-3555) signed a lease for 2,560 sq.ft. with U.S. Cellular, a retail wireless phone provider, at Riverview Shopping Center located at 3328 North Western Avenue in Chicago, IL.

Insignia/ESG (212-984-8073) signed a lease for 7,200 sq.ft. with Marche Madison at 75 Rockefeller Plaza in New York, NY. The restaurant will be a bi-level location with 3,700 sq.ft. for a ground-floor cafe and a full-service gourmet restaurant of 3,500 sq.ft. on the mezzanine level. Opening is slated for the Summer. The restaurant has three other locations, including sites at 931 Madison Avenue, 609 Madison Avenue and 450 Park Avenue.

Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (757-497-2113) signed a lease with Operman’s Dollar Mart for 7,500 sq.ft. at Valley Park Commons Shopping Center located at 1580 Wesil Boulevard in Hagerstown, MD. The center is cotenanted by Martins Grocery, Lowe’s Home Improvement Warehouse, Chick-fil-A, CVS and United Optical. Divaris Real Estate/Richmond, VA (804-643-4700) signed a lease for 7,640 sq.ft. with Family Dollar at 1220 North 25th Street in Richmond, VA. The space formerly was occupied by Rite Aid. Family Dollar currently operates 4,700 stores throughout 41 states and plans to open 575 more locations this year. The center is tenanted by Check Into Cash and Giant supermarket.

Glimcher Group (412-765-8079) signed leases with Roomful Express and Radio Shack at Monroeville Plaza in Monroeville, PA. Roomful Express will be taking over space formerly occupied by Ames. Opening is slated for the Summer. Opening for Radio Shack is slated for July. The company also signed a lease for 10,000 sq.ft. with Titan Sports and Beauty at Lincoln Knolls Plaza located on Route 422 in Youngstown, OH. The store specializes in selling family wear, sportswear, hair products and beauty supplies. Opening is slated for the Spring. Cotenants include IGA Supermarket, Dollar General and Family Dollar. The company also signed a lease for 20,000 sq.ft. with Dollar Tree at By-Pass Plaza in Beckley, WV. Cotenants include Magic Mart and Staples.

Atlas Partners Commercial Brokerage, LLC (312-516-5700) signed the following leases: 30,269 sq.ft. of ground with McDonald’s Corp. at the intersection of 87th and Kedzie in Evergreen Park, IL; 4,000 sq.ft. with Chermin’s Shoe Outlet at 11225 South Michigan Avenue in Chicago, IL and 3,000 sq.ft. with Huntington Learning Center at 2314 North Clark in Chicago.

The Proto Group (203-234-6371) signed the following leases throughout CT: a long-term lease at 209 West Street in Cromwell. The deal encompassed a buyout of the Bickford’s Restaurant from its lease and structuring a new ground lease; 5,100 sq.ft. with Laundry Capital at 221 Bull Hill Lane in West Haven; 3,000 sq.ft. with Pazza Cucina at 208 Amity Road in Woodbridge; 5,000 sq.ft. with Tommy K’s Video at ShopRite Plaza in Derby; 11,180 sq.ft. with Rite Aid at 2969 Main Street in Bridgeport and 18,941 sq.ft. with Bassett Furniture at Wal*Mart Plaza located at 3164 Berlin Turnpike in Newington.

NAI Hiffman Commercial Real Estate Services (630-932-1234) signed a lease for 40,000 sq.ft. with Food Harbor at 1401 West Lake Street in Addison, IL. Food Harbor is an ethnic supermarket and a wholesaler of Asian, African, Jamaican and Mexican foods. The company distributes food to 23 states.

Insite Commercial Group/TCN Worldwide (248-355-6141) signed a lease for 6,320 sq.ft. with Auto Zone at the Kroger supermarket-anchored shopping center located at the intersection of State and Flint Streets in Davison, MI.
