Lease Signings Combined Properties (202-293-4500) signed the following leases: 71,421 sq.ft. with Giant at Charles County Plaza in Waldorf, MD; 10,419 sq.ft. with Pier 1 Imports at Greenway Center in Greenbelt, MD; 38,300 sq.ft. with The Room Store at 40 West Plaza in Baltimore, MD; 21,000 sq.ft. with Galaxy Home Furnishings and 10,412 sq.ft. with Tuesday Morning at Manaport Plaza in Manassas, VA; 18,000 sq.ft. with In Vogue Interiors at Montgomery Village Plaza in Gaithersburg, MD and 9,100 sq.ft. with Fashion One at Georgia Avenue in Washington, DC.
Planned Community Developers (713-523-7900) signed a lease for 2,350 sq.ft. with K’s Art & Frame at Kingwood Commons Shopping Center, a 177,000 sq.ft. center located at the intersection of Kingwood Drive and Loop 494 in Kingwood, TX.
The Woodmont Co. (817-732-4000) signed a lease for 4,251 sq.ft. with Cato women’s apparel store at Pioneer Plaza Shopping Center in Arlington, TX and a second 4,650 sq.ft. Cato store at Irving Town Center in Irving, TX. The company also signed a lease for 17,500 sq.ft. with Dollar Tree at Colorado Square Shopping Center in Denton, TX.

Commercial Retail Advisors, LLC (520-290-3200) signed a lease for 15,000 sq.ft. with Ace Hardware at Kino Gateway, a center located at the intersection of Campbell and Irvington at Benson Highway in Tucson, AZ. The hardware store will be in Phase II of the center. Opening is slated for Spring 2004. The company also signed a lease for 1,300 sq.ft. with Contours Express, a women’s only fitness facility, at Broadway Albertsons Center located at 60 North Harrison Road in Tucson, AZ.
Mall Properties, Inc. (212-935-1330) signed a lease for 3,259 sq.ft. with Chipotle Mexican Grill at Akers Mill Square located on Route 41 in Atlanta, GA. Opening is slated for Summer 2004. The restaurant will be located on a pad site fronting Route 41.
Trademark (817-870-1122) announced that its development project, Market Street, a 485,000 sq.ft. mixed-use town center located in The Woodlands, TX, signed leases with the following retailers: Cafe Express, The Accessory Place, Bella Rinova Spa, Berryhill Tamales and Encore Bank.
