Lease Signings


Noddle Development Co. (800-365-1616) leased 5,950 sq.ft. to Harry Hines Trading Co. and 1,050 sq.ft. to Caps, Etc. at Harvey Oaks Plaza in Omaha, NE, 3,200 sq.ft. to Sherwin Williams at Centrum Plaza in Decorah, IA and 1,428 sq.ft. to Tan Your Hide at Broadmoor Towne Center North in Colorado Springs, CO.

HSA Commercial Real Esate (312-654-8900) represented CMK Development in the lease of 3,600 sq.ft. to Bank One at 1849 West North Avenue in Chicago, IL. HSA is CMK Development’s exclusive leasing agent for the property.

Albrecht, Inc. (330-376-6611) has signed a lease with Harbor Freight Tools for a store that will open in the Hills and Dales Shopping Center on Whipple Avenue in Canton, OH. The 14,130 sq.ft. store is projected to open by the end of the year. Habor Freight currently operates more than 150 stores nationwide.

Stile Retail Group (954-627-9377) negotiated the following leases: 3,500 sq.ft. for five years to Sam’s St. John Seafood and 1,360 sq.ft. for five years to Subway Real Estate Corp. at Flamingo Commons at 4301 Southwest 124th Avenue in Davie, FL.

The Woodmont Co. (817-735-4738) negotiated leases totaling 3,500 sq.ft. at Cranberry Commons in Cranberry Township, PA. AT&T Wireless, Inc. leased 2,000 sq.ft. and FASTFRAME leased 1,500 sq.ft. The stores are projected to open in December. The center is currently cotenanted by Lowe’s Home Improvement, Kohl’s, Target and PetsMart.

Commercial Retail Advisors (520-290-3200) represented the landlord in a lease of 1,442 sq.ft. to Fidelity National Title Agency, Inc. at Oro Valley Center, located at 11133 North La Canada Drive in Oro Valley, AZ. Fidelity National Title is expected to open its new office in November.

TKO Real Estate Advisory Group (609-587-6200), represented Burlington Coat Factory, in subleasing a 24,000 sq.ft. store to Dollar Tree. The site is located in Brownsville, TX and is a sublease of Burlington Coat’s 104,000 sq.ft. store.

Continental Real Estate Cos. (305-854-7342) negotiated the following leases: 2,700 sq.ft. to Speed Supply Co. at Renaissance Plaza, located at 5109 University Drive in Davie FL; 1,200 sq.ft. to Asia Nails at Sunshine Plaza at 4021 West Commercial Boulevard in Fort Lauderdale, FL; 2,150 sq.ft. to Liberty Wireless and 750 sq.ft. to Tree Communications at Northside Shopping Center located at 7900 Northwest 27th Avenue in Miami, FL; 2,250 sq.ft. to Mama Cuchara at Shoppes at MICC, located at 7850 Northwest 25th Street in Miami, FL; 1,950 sq.ft. to Kabob Mediterranean Grill at 1638 South Federal Highway in Delray Beach, FL; 1,200 sq.ft. to Spin For Life at Coral Creek Shops, located at 6502 North State Road 7 in Coconut, Creek, FL; 1,700 sq.ft. to American Nails at Forum Shops located at 140 North Congress Avenue in Boynton, Beach, FL; 1,500 sq.ft. to Isaac’s Seafood at Kendall Value Center, located at 7200 Southwest 117th Avenue in Miami, FL and 5,300 sq.ft. to Washington Mutal at Turtle Run Shoppes, located at 6261 Sample Road in Coral Springs, FL.

NewMark Merrill Cos. (818-710-6100) recently negotiated a 5,750 sq.ft., 10-year lease for Children’s Dental Group at Bristol Warner Marketplace. The 121,677 sq.ft. center, which is located at the intersection of Bristol Street and Warner Avenue in Santa Ana,CA, is anchored by Food 4 Less, Anna’s Linens, Radio Shack, Panda Express and Domino’s Pizza. The company also negotiated a 1,350 sq.ft., 10-year lease for Starbucks at Norwalk Town Square in Norwalk, CA. The shopping center, located at the intersection of Rosecrans Avenue and Pioneer Boulevard, is cotenanted by AutoZone, Sav-on, Bally Total Fitness and Big Lots!

Sigma National, Inc. (804-320-6100) represented Barnes & Noble in the 30,000 sq.ft. lease at Pembroke Mall in Virginia Beach, VA.

Newton Oldacre McDonald, LLC (615-269-5444) signed leases with Old Navy, Ross Dress for Less, Office Depot, Petco and T.J. Maxx at TigerTown, Phase I in Opelika, AL. Old Navy will occupy 15,000 sq.ft., Ross Dress for Less signed for 30,000 sq.ft., Office Depot will occupy 16,000 sq.ft., while Petco and T.J. Maxx will occupy 15,000 sq.ft. and 28,000 sq.ft. respectively. The 176,000 sq.ft. center is projected to open next Summer.

CB Richard Ellis (847-572-1450) brokered leases with Washington Mutal Bank and The Original New York Bagel & Bialy at The Grove Shopping Center in Buffalo Grove. Washington Mutual leased 3,201 sq.ft. and The Original New York Bagel leased 3,550 sq.ft. The center, anchored by Jewel/Osco is located at the intersection of Lake Cook Road and Route 83.

Flocke & Avoyer (619-280-2600) represented Leornard & Moore, LLC in the leasing of 1,837 sq.ft. in the Hawthorne Center located at the intersection of Kearny Mesa Road and Highway 163. The company will be doing business as Samurai Sam’s Teriyaki Grill. The lease is for five years and a consideration of $269,179. The restaurant is projecting a November opening.

Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (757-497-1338) signed a lease with Advance America Cash Advance for 2,370 sq.ft. of retail space in the Divaris-leased Haynes Plaza located at 6506 Hull Street Road in Richmond, VA. The center is cotenanted by Haynes Furniture, Duron Paints and Harbor Freight Tools. The company also represented Plaza Paseo Real, located at 6965 El Camino Real in Carlsbad, CA, in the leasing of 2,147 sq.ft. to Fitness for Life. The lease is for five years and a consideration of $335,122.

RMC Property Group (813-963-2596) completed subleases two former supermarket sites with Publix Supermarkets, Inc. Gold’s Gym signed a 56,000 sq.ft. anchor space at Bay Hill Shopping Center in Orlando, FL. Floor & Decor Outlets of America, Inc. subleased the 85,000 sq.ft. space in Crossroads Village Shopping Center in Jacksonville, FL.

Colliers Arnold Real Estate Services, Inc. (407-843-1723) negotiated four leases totaling more than 19,000 sq.ft. at Bellair Plaza, located at 2650 North Atlantic Avenue in Daytona Beach, FL. The company negotiated a lease of 12,000 sq.ft. for Grand Seas Welcome Center; 3,000 sq.ft. for Bon Worth; 2,401sq.ft. for Emilia’s Deli and 2,000 sq.ft. for Pro Style.
