The John Bowles Co. is developing Coit Crossing, a 42,024 sq.ft. center located at the intersection of Spring Creek and Coit in Plano, TX with an average daily traffic count of 50,000 vehicles. RMC Property Group is developing the following properties: Forty East Shopping Center, a Publix-anchored center located at the intersection of Silver Springs Boulevard and 36th Avenue in Ocala, FL. Opening is slated for November; a 45,000 sq.ft. Publix at Haines City Mall located at 511-639 U.S. Highway 17-92 in Haines City, FL. Opening is slated for March 2004; a 45,000 sq.ft. Publix at Miller West located at the intersection of Miller Drive and 157th Avenue in Miami, FL. Opening is slated for October; Publix Center of St. Cloud, a 79,000 sq.ft. center located at the intersection of U.S. Highway 192 and Kissimmee Park Road in St. Cloud, FL; Opening is slated for this month; Publix at Winthrop Village, a center located at the intersection of Providence Road and Bloomingdale Avenue in Brandon, FL. A 54,000 sq.ft. Publix will anchor the first phase of the retail component that is to be built within the lifestyle community of Winthrop Village. Opening is slated for this month.

Midstate Construction is developing a center located on Mendocino Avenue near Steele Lane in Santa Rosa, CA. The center will be tenanted by a Safeway supermarket and include space for shops, a restaurant and 28 apartments. The Safeway store is slated to open later this year. The site is next to an existing 32,000 sq.ft. Safeway, which is half the size of its new store. It will remain open while the new store is under construction.

Kitchell Development Co. is developing Park West Plaza, a 700,000 sq.ft. center located at the intersection of Eight Mile Road and Interstate 5 in Stockton, CA. The 3,000-acre, 4,000-unit master-planned community will include space of 580,000 sq.ft. in Phase 1. Anchor tenants will include Target, Kohl’s, Sportmart, Babies "R" Us and Bed Bath & Beyond, while tenants will include Borders, La-Z-Boy, PetsMart, Famous Footwear, Dress Barn and Lane Bryant. Two outparcels will be leased by Bank of America and Washington Mutual. Annual NNN rates for inline spaces range from $27 psf to $30 psf, while anchor tenants will likely pay half that.

Phoenix Associates, Inc. is developing Phase 1 of Oaks Shopping Center, a 150,000 sq.ft. center located at the intersection of North Thompson Lane and Medical Center Parkway in Murfreesboro, TN. Phase II is expected to include 108,000 sq.ft. of space. The center will be anchored by Bed Bath & Beyond, Marshall’s, Ashley Furniture and Ross Dress for Less and is looking to add an upscale supermarket, book store, ladies’ apparel store, shoe retailer and an arts and craft store.

Shop ‘n Save-anchored center located at the intersection of Highway 40 and Highway N in O’Fallon, MO. Completion is slated for Fall 2004; a 14,560 sq.ft. Walgreens store located at Cross Rhodes Shopping Center in Memphis, TN. Completion is slated for Spring 2004; and a 10,260 sq.ft. center located at the intersection of Delmar Boulevard and North and South Loop Road in St. Louis, MO. Construction began this May.
