Lease Signings

RMC Property Group (813-960-8154) signed a lease for 4,500 sq.ft. with The Odd Room at the Village Square East Shopping Center located at 11743 North Dale Mabry Highway in Tampa, FL. The Odd Room is an upscale showroom offering home furnishings, artwork, antiques and modern furnishings. The center is tenanted by Party City and Hobby Town USA. The company also signed a lease for 10,000 sq.ft. with Super Buffet at the Seminole Mall, a 425,442 sq.ft. center located at the intersection of Park Boulevard North and 113th Street North in Seminole, FL. The center is tenanted by Publix, Kmart, Stein Mart, Beall’s Department Store and Eckerd. The company also signed the following leases throughout FL: 6,000 sq.ft. with Mainstreet Beauty Max at Gainesville Shopping Center located at 1024 North Main Street in Gainesville; 6,000 sq.ft. with Your Heart’s Desire at Ocala Shopping Center located at 1913 East Silver Springs Boulevard in Ocala; 3,600 sq.ft. with M&J’s Country Kitchen at Bloomingdale Plaza located at the intersection of Bloomingdale Avenue and John Moore Road in Brandon; and 3,413 sq.ft. with Bon Worth and 1,410 sq.ft. with Sun City Center Travel at Sun City Center Plaza located at 1517A Sun City Center Plaza in Sun City Center, FL.

Staubach Retail Services (972-361-5063) signed a lease for 20,000 sq.ft. with Brooks Mays Music Co. at 10311 Katy Freeway in Houston, TX. Brooks Mays is relocating from its current location at 11522 Old Katy Road. The company also signed a lease for 60,000 sq.ft. with Hobby Lobby at the Franklin Shopping Center located at the intersection of Interstate 26 and Highway 2 in Spartanburg, SC. Opening is slated for early 2004.

Sugarland Properties, Inc. (713-523-7900) signed a lease for 1,551 sq.ft. with Jamba Juice at Sugar Land Town Square, a center located at the intersection of U.S. 59 and Highway 6 in Sugar Land, TX. Opening is slated for October. The center is tenanted by P.F. Chang’s China Bistro, Cafe Express, Bombay/Bombay KIDS, Japaneiro’s Sushi Bistro and Latin Grill. Jamba Juice currently operates 370 company-owned and franchised stores throughout 24 states and Washington, DC.

Excess Space Disposition (516-365-6400) signed the following leases: Walgreens subleased 14,370 sq.ft. to Dollar Box at 703 14th Street in Leesburg, FL; Pathmark subleased 1,600 sq.ft. to Rental City at the Pathmark Shopping Center in Copiague, NY and Winn-Dixie Markets subleased 43,200 sq.ft. to World Fitness at 214 St. James Avenue in Goose Creek, SC.

Divaris Real Estate, Inc. (804-643-4700) signed a lease for 2,370 sq.ft. with Advance America Cash Advance at Haynes Plaza, a center located at 6506 Hull Street in Richmond, VA. Advance America currently operates 1,748 locations throughout 32 states. The center is tenanted by Haynes Furniture, Duron Paints and Harbor Freight Tools. Divaris Real Estate, Inc. of Virginia Beach, VA (757-497-2113) signed a lease for 2,080 sq.ft. with Indian River Beauty Academy at Tidewater Plaza, a center located at 6518 Indian River Road in Virginia Beach, VA. The company also signed a lease for 2,244 sq.ft. with Washington Mutual Finance Group at Coliseum Corner Shopping Center located at 2189 Cunningham Drive in Hampton, VA.

Insite Commercial Group/TCN Worldwide (248-355-6141) signed a lease with Tortue at Crosswinds Mall in West Bloomfield, MI. The store specializes in European home accessories.

Aries Deitch & Endelson, Inc. (914-949-2800) signed a lease for 9,200 sq.ft. with Golfsmith International, Inc. at 1019 Central Park Avenue in Scarsdale, NY.

Metro Commercial Real Estate, Inc. (856-222-3013) signed a lease for 4,068 sq.ft. with The Vitamin Shoppe at Consumer Square, a center located in Mays Landing, NJ. The Vitamin Shoppe operates 150 stores throughout 18 states. The center is tenanted by Target, BJ’s Wholesale Club, Kohl’s, PetsMart, Babies "R" Us, Staples and Best Buy.

Goldschmidt & Associates (914-723-1616) signed a lease for 15,000 sq.ft. with La-Z-Boy Furniture at 691 Central Park Avenue in Scarsdale, NY. The space was formerly occupied by The Door Store and Petals. The company also signed a lease for 7,000 sq.ft. with Weber’s at Spring Valley Marketplace in Spring Valley, NY. The center is tenanted by Target, Christmas Tree Shops, T.J. Maxx and David’s Bridal.

Levin Management Corp. (201-796-7788) signed a lease for 4,683 sq.ft. with CiCi’s Pizza at Crossroads Place in Bailey’s Crossroads, VA. CiCi’s currently operates 420 locations nationwide. The center is tenanted by Olive Garden, Western Sizzlin’ Steak & More Restaurant, Starbucks, Einstein Bagels and Mr. Hero.
