Dorris was formerly vice president of operations with a retailer in St. Petersburg, FL. Prior to that, he was director of property management with Klaff Realty in Chicago, IL. In his new duties, Dorris is responsible for the management of construction of stores and center operations. The company also named Leilani Jones asset manager in the company’s Atlanta, GA office. She has been assigned operations management duties for multiple Sembler properties in GA, including Henry Town Center, a 620,000 sq.ft. center in McDonough, and Park Place and Publix at Piedmont in Atlanta. Jones was formerly director of property management with JDN Realty, which is now Developers Diversified Realty. The company also named Jim Kurtz construction manager in St. Petersburg, FL. Kurtz was formerly a project manager for McDonald’s Corp. in Tampa. Prior to that, he was project manager with Venture Construction in Tampa. In his new duties, Kurtz will coordinate construction of various Sembler projects throughout the Southeast.
