(914-968-8500) is representing Futurama Home Furniture, a five-unit chain, in its expansion plans throughout Long Island and southern NY, central and northern NJ and southern CT. The company prefers spaces of 40,000 sq.ft. to 50,000 sq.ft. in freestanding locations and strip centers near other furniture stores. Plans call for three openings during the coming 18 months.
Finard & Co., LLC (781-273-5555) has been awarded the retail leasing contract for three MA shopping centers totaling 427,366 sq.ft. The contract includes the Great Road Shopping Center in Bedford, a center located at the intersection of Route 28 and Jones Road in Falmouth and a center at 174 Somerville Avenue in Somerville. The Great Road Shopping Center is a 205,670 sq.ft. center anchored by Super Stop & Shop, HomeGoods and T.J. Maxx. Cotenants include Dress Barn, Hallmark, Toyworks, Radio Shack and Payless ShoeSource. The center at Route 28 and Jones Road in Falmouth is 95,696 sq.ft. and is tenanted by Super Stop & Shop, Ocean State Job Lot and Fashion Bug. The center located at 174 Somerville Avenue is 126,000 sq.ft. and is tenanted by Target, A.J. Wright and Lappen’s Auto Parts.
