Sandor Development is planning to develop Corinth Commons, a 125,000 sq.ft. center located at the intersection of Highway 72 and South Harper Road in Corinth, MS with an average daily traffic count of 22,000 vehicles. The center will be anchored by Goody’s. Area demographics include a population of 20,754 within five miles earning $42,000 as the average household income. Opening is slated for Fall 2005. Area retail includes Lowe’s Home Improvement, Malco Theatres and Wal*Mart Supercenter.

James Doran Co. and the City of Winter Springs are developing Phase II of the Winter Springs Town Center located at the intersection of State Route 434 and Tuskawilla Road in Winter Springs, FL. The center is anticipated to have a total of 700 residential units, 500,000 sq.ft. of retail space and 300,000 sq.ft. of office space on a land area of 48 acres. Special features at the center include the Cross Seminole Trail, a pedestrian and hiking path, equestrian and hiking trails around the property. DKH Interests is planning to develop three lifestyle centers totaling about 500,000 sq.ft. of retail space in Atascocita, League City and Sugar Land, TX. The projects include: Alore III, a 110,000 sq.ft. center located at the intersection of FM 1960 and West Lake Houston Parkway in Atascocita; Alore IV, a 250,000 sq.ft. center located at the intersection of Texas 96 and FM 1266 in League City and Alore V, a 160,000 sq.ft. center located at the intersection of Texas 6 and Colonial Lakes Drive in Sugar Land’s master-planned development of First Colony. All the sites are slated to open during Spring 2005. The 10.3-acre Alore III is planned to be anchored by a movie theater. Alore IV will be situated on a land area of 26 acres about 1,000 feet from the Gulf Coast and will have $26 million of street-level retail that will be topped off with second-floor townhouses. Urban Retail Properties Co. and Drew Co. are planning to develop Waterside Place, a 600,000 sq.ft. center located in Boston, MA. The center will include a 462-room hotel, 231 residential units and a supermarket. Opening is slated for 2008. Waterside Place will be a mixed-use development at the core of the South Boston waterfront district. The project sits on a land area of 13 acres. The center will offer a connection between the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center and the waterfront through a grand concourse lined with shops, restaurants and entertainment.

Casto is developing Town and Country Shopping Center located at the intersection of East Broad Street and Robinwood Avenue in Whitehall, OH. Market Realty, LLC is preleasing Carpentier Creek Pavilion, a 120,000 sq.ft. center located at the intersection of Lloyd and Rosenberger in Evansville, IN. Construction is beginning this month, with opening slated for the Fall. The center will be anchored by Kohl’s Department Store. Area retail includes Wal*Mart, Office Depot, Lowe’s Home Improvement and Home Depot. The center has spaces available of 2,000 sq.ft. to 23,000 sq.ft., as well as four outlots of two acres to 7.5 acres.

The Rouse Co. is planning to develop an expansion at the Bridgewater Commons mall in Bridgewater, NJ. The expansion is expected to be anchored by Crate & Barrel and Maggiano’s Little Italy restaurant. The company plans another eight to 10 tenants to fill the “lifestyle center” section of the mall. The center will be developed on a 12-acre parcel that sits across from the Marriott and would face both Commons Way and Route 22. Both are slated for completion during Spring 2006.

The Nichols Partnership, Inc. is planning to develop Clayton Lane, a center located at the intersection of First Avenue and University Boulevard in Denver, CO. The center will include 130,000 sq.ft. of retail space, in addition to the 180,000 sq.ft. of existing retail space occupied by Sears and Whole Foods Market. The 130,000 sq.ft. section is being built in four phases and about 15,000 sq.ft. is currently occupied, while about 90% of it is leased. Crate & Barrel plans a mid-September opening, while the rest of the stores will open between mid-September and mid-October. Cotenants will include HW Home, Pete’s Coffee, Cold Stone Creamery, Wells Fargo, Antoine Du Chez and John Atencio Designer Jewelry.
