Lease Signings


The Greenberg Group, Inc. (516-295-0406) brokered a lease for Sean John’s first flagship store at 475 Fifth Avenue in New York, NY. 

Marketplace Properties (714-731-8888) signed a lease with Henry’s Marketplace to anchor Day Creek Marketplace, a new upscale center located at the intersection of Baseline Road and Day Creek Boulevard in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Henry’s Marketplace is a farmer’s market-style store known for fresh produce, meats and seafood and deli offerings. Opening is slated for June 2005. 

Roadside Development, LLC/Petroleum Properties Consultants (410-435-7000) signed a 20-year lease with Davco, the Wendy’s franchisee for Maryland, at the intersection of Emmerton Road and Singer Road in Bel Air, MD.

 Sundance Square Management Co. (817-255-5700) signed a lease with P.F. Chang’s China Bistro for 7,332 sq.ft. in the northeast corner of the Bank One building at the intersection of Third Street and Throckmorton Street in Fort Worth, TX. Construction is slated to begin this Spring, with the restaurant expected to open in the fourth quarter of this year. The opening of P.F. Chang’s will bring the retail occupancy level to 99% for the Sundance Square district of downtown. 

Inland Real Estate Corp. (888-331-4732) signed the following leases: five years for 2,080 sq.ft. with Curves for Women at Cobbler Crossing, a 102,643 sq.ft. center located at 1020 Summit Road in Elgin, IL; 10 years for 19,005 sq.ft. with PetsMart at Four Flaggs Shopping Center, a 324,961 sq.ft. center located at 8201-8307 West Golf Road in Niles, IL; five years for 2,000 sq.ft. with Oreck at Pine Tree Plaza, a 187,413 sq.ft. center located at 2900 Deerfield Drive in Janesville, WI; five years for 2,246 sq.ft. with Low Carb Chicago at Rivertree Court, a 298,862 sq.ft. center located at 701 North Milwaukee Avenue in Vernon Hills, IL; five years for 1,500 sq.ft. with Great Clips at Salem Square, a 112,310 sq.ft. center located at 5555 South Brainerd Avenue in Countryside, IL; five years for 903 sq.ft. with Great Clips at Thatcher Woods, a 193,313 sq.ft. center located at 3049 North Thatcher Road in River Grove, IL and five years for 3,286 sq.ft. with Huntington Learning Center at Woodland Commons, a 170,398 sq.ft. center located at 310 Half Day Road in Buffalo Grove, IL. 

Atlas Partners Commercial Brokerage, LLC (312-516-5700) signed a lease for 7,973 sq.ft. with Chernin’s Shoe Outlet at Liberty Plaza Shopping Center located on Lincoln Highway in Matteson, IL.

Capital Realty Advisors, Inc. (561-624-5888) signed a one-year lease for 1,407 sq.ft. with Record Rendezvous and a one-year lease with Don & Bens, Inc. at the Dellcrest Plaza located at the intersection of White Road and Rigsby Avenue in San Antonio, TX. 

RED Development, LLC (480-556-7751) signed leases with DSW Shoe Warehouse, Talbots and Scooters Jave Express at Village Pointe, a center located at the intersection of 168th Street and Dodge Street in Omaha, NE. Cotenants include Bed Bath & Beyond, Cheeseburger In Paradise, Claire’s, Cold Stone Creamery, Cost Plus World Market, Coldwater Creek, Douglas Theatre Co., Flat Top Grill, Jos. A. Bank, Mid-City Bank, Panchero’s Mexican Grill, Pier 1 Imports, Scheels All Sports and Wild Oats Natural Marketplace. 

Excess Space Disposition, Inc. (516-365-6400) signed the following leases: Nash Finch subleased 12,123 sq.ft. to YMCA at 303 South Main Street in River Falls, WI; Eckerd subleased 10,000 sq.ft. to Summit Sports Training Center located at the intersection of Route 561 and Browning in Cherry Hill, NJ; Advance Auto subleased 8,000 sq.ft. to Mattress Land, Inc. at 1516 Harrisburg Pike in Columbus, OH; Advance Auto subleased 5,624 sq.ft. to Beauty Queen at 3425 Napier Avenue in Macon, GA and Allied Domecq subleased 1,500 sq.ft. to Tummy Stuffers at 24100 El Toro Road in Laguna Woods, CA. 

Flocke & Avoyer Commercial Real Estate (619-280-2600) signed a 10-year lease for 3,000 sq.ft. with Payless Shoes at the Nordahl Marketplace located on Nordahl Road in San Marcos, CA. The company also signed a five-year lease for 761 sq.ft. with Allen’s Pizza at Plaza Paseo Real located at 6943 El Camino Real in Carlsbad, CA. The company also signed a 15-year lease for 20,388 sq.ft. with Staples at Creekside Market Place located at the intersection of Highway 78 and San Marcos Boulevard in San Marcos, CA. The center is cotenanted by Lowe’s Home Improvement and Best Buy. 

Cushman & Wakefield of New Jersey, Inc. (201-935-4000) signed the following leases at Manalapan Corporate Plaza, an 86,750 sq.ft. center located at 195 Route 9 South in Manalapan, NJ: 6,700 sq.ft. with Countrywide Home Mortgage; 4,600 sq.ft. with World Savings and 4,100 sq.ft. with Picture Perfect, which specializes in oral healthcare and cosmetic and medical products.
