Real Estate Professionals Making The News Prime Locations, LLC (972-991-7000) announced that David Lee and Jack Bond, both veteran turnaround consultants, were hired as directors. Lee has more than 23 years experience as a finance and operations executive and consultant. He has guided companies through bankruptcy in many industries, including manufacturing, distribution, retail, personnel services and telecommunications. Bond has more than 30 years experience as a financial executive, real estate manager and consultant in a wide range of industries. Bond’s experience includes arranging more than $6 billion in public and private placements of debt in a range of transaction types, including loan terms, revolving credits, asset-based loans and mortgages.
Crosland (704-561-5200) promoted Ryan Preston to director of leasing in the retail division in Charlotte, NC. As director, Preston will manage the leasing, sales and marketing effort for the Crosland retail portfolio totaling two million sq.ft. of existing shopping centers and 1.2 million sq.ft. of new development. Preston has been with Crosland for five years as a leasing agent for existing and new retail developments. Prior to joining Crosland, Preston sold residential real estate in Abilene, TX for two years.
Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Brokerage Co. (925-979-9810) recently added Carlos Lopez to its Long Beach, CA office. Lopez will specialize in retail investment properties. He most recently worked in real estate investment sales at Faris Lee Investments of Irvine, CA, where he worked from 1996 to this year. He also worked at Sperry Van Ness in Newport Beach, CA for a year and Bishop Hawk of southern CA from 1989 to 1995. Lopez’s most recent transactions include the final portion of the Birch Street Promenade, a mixed-use center in Brea, CA.
Coldwell Banker Commercial (314-206-4600) announced that Jacqueline Quicksilver has joined the company as a sales and leasing associate. Quicksilver will be responsible for handling general commercial real estate transactions, including office, industrial, retail and investment properties. Previously, she was a senior vice president with a national investment brokerage firm. Quicksilver is a member of the Missouri Association of Realtors, National Association of Realtors and the St. Louis Association of Realtors.

(972-250-1543) a real estate services and investment firm was created with exclusive focus on retail. The Retail Connection is led by Steven A. Lieberman, an 18-year retail real estate veteran and former president of The Weitzman Group, and Alan P. Shor, former president and chief operating officer of Zale Corp. Lieberman and Shor will be co-chairmen of the company’s board of directors. The Retail Connection is launching with over dozen real estate professionals, representing chains that include Bed Bath & Beyond, Sports Authority, The Gap, OfficeMax, Famous Footwear, JoAnn’s, Houston’s and Pei Wei Asian Diner.
