United Fashions of Texas trades as Melrose at 70 locations throughout AZ, CA, NM and TX. The women’s apparel stores occupy spaces of 5,000 sq.ft. to 12,000 sq.ft. in strip and power centers and malls. Growth opportunities are sought throughout the existing markets during the coming 18 months. Leases running three to five years with options are typical. Preferred demographics include a population of 50,000 within three miles earning $35,000 as the average household income. Sales of $160 to $200 psf have been reported.
