DJM Asset Management (631-752-1100) is disposing of the leases of 89 Zany Brainy stores as part of the company’s voluntary Chapter 11 bankruptcy petition. The stores that are closing are located throughout 27 states and range in size from 6,000 sq.ft. to 15,000 sq.ft. 

Robert K. Futterman & Associates, LLC (212-599-3700) was selected by the Metropolitan Transportation Authority as its retail leasing and merchandising consultant for Grand Central Terminal. The three-year assignment entails a total of 131,000 sq.ft. within the terminal and the 10,000 sq.ft. Vanderbilt Hall. The company also will oversee the leasing of the annual Holiday Fair. 

Kalis Development Corp. (703-917-6632) was appointed to manage the Warrenton Towne Centre, a 119,000 sq.ft. strip center located in Warrenton, VA. The center is anchored by Food Lion, Grand Furniture, CVS and Warrenton Cinema 5.

The Goldstein Group (201-703-9700) is representing Rigoletto Espresso, a casual gourmet, café-style trattoria, in its planned expansion throughout northern NJ and Westchester County, NY. The company occupies spaces of 2,500 sq.ft. to 3,000 sq.ft. in central business districts, endcaps and freestanding locations. The company prefers to cotenant with bookstores, video stores and clothing stores. 

Garrick-Aug Worldwide (212-557-9090) has been named exclusive agent for space located at 126 University Place, between 13th and 14th Streets, in New York, NY. The ground level is approximately 2,200 sq.ft., while the lower level is 1,300 sq.ft. Area retail includes Virgin Mega Stores, Urban Outfitters, Diesel, Miss Sixty, The Container Store, The Garden of Eden, Toys “R” Us, United Artists Theaters and Barnes & Noble. 

Millennium Venture Group (303-390-1688) is representing T-Mobile in its expansion of small format stores throughout TX. The company prefers pad sites of 3,000 sq.ft. to 15,000 sq.ft., a daily traffic count of 15,000 vehicles and a population of 25,000 to 50,000 within three miles. T-Mobile will pay all development costs. The company also prefers large pads with two tenants. 

Epsteen & Associates (310-451-8171) is representing Old Navy in its expansion throughout southern CA. The apparel stores occupy spaces of 16,000 sq.ft. in power and strip centers. The company currently operates 700 locations nationwide and in Canada.
