Real Estate Professionals Making the News Rockwood Realty Associates, LLC (212-286-5800) promoted Dan Sachs to senior managing director and partner. Sachs has been with Rockwood for eight years working as a managing director. Prior to that, he was a manager at Coopers & Lybrand, LLP’s real estate advisory services group, where he served as a real estate consultant servicing clients including financial institutions, investment banks, real estate investors and developers. Prior to that, Sachs was an associate with Lamar Cos., a real estate owner/developer of retail properties.
Corporate Property Dispositions, LLC (714-259-0966) announced that Brent Rhylick has joined the company. He will be responsible for selling/leasing excess property for Home Depot.
Core Communities, LLC (407-423-8006) announced the formation of Core Commercial Realty, which will be led by Alan Karrh. Karrh’s first priority has been site planning and now leasing retail and commercial space in The Shoppes at Tradition in Port St. Lucie, FL, including finalizing deals for a supermarket anchor and bank and the leasing of a new office buildings.
RED Development (480-556-7751) named Fred Collings as executive vice president of leasing and announced he will become a partner in the retail development company. Collings will oversee day-to-day operations of the company’s leasing team and, as partner, will serve on the company’s leadership team. Prior to RED, Collings worked at Westcor for 25 years, serving mostly as senior vice president of leasing.
Centdev (704-895-1535) announced the hiring of Robert Broocks as the senior director of project management. Broocks will be taking over the responsibilities of project management on all projects for Centdev properties. Broocks’ work experience includes the Mills Corp., where he was employed as a senior project manager on Arizona Mills and Concord Mills.
