Cedarwood Development, Inc. is developing Hermitage Crossing, a 267,070 sq.ft. center located on North Hermitage Road in Hermitage, PA. The site has an average daily traffic count of 21,000 vehicles. Opening is slated for Summer 2005. Area retail includes Shenango Valley Mall, which is anchored by Kaufmann’s, Sears and JCPenney. Area demographics include a population of 54,000 within five miles earning $48,000 as the average household income.

Castle and Cook is planning to develop Town of Copper, a 28-acre center with shops, restaurants and housing, just off Highway 4 in Copperopolis, CA. The company is looking to attract businesses such as specialty supermarkets, ice cream shops and antique and jewelry stores. The development could have up to 40 residential units. The center would be built in five phases, with each phase taking one year to complete.
