Lease Signings


Robert K. Futterman & Associates (212-599-3700) secured a lease with Eckerd Corp. at The New Era Building at 495 Broadway in New York, NY. The drug store signed a 25-year lease for 8,500 sq.ft. at the property, which is owned by Textport Fabric Corp. Scott Editz and Richard Gelber of Robert K. Futterman represented the building owner, Textport Fabric Corp. RIPCO Real Estate Corp. represented the tenant. The company also completed two deals with Zales. The jewelry retailer signed two 15-year leases. The first was for 3,000 sq.ft. at 408 Fulton Street in Brooklyn, NY and the other was for 2,500 sq.ft. at 417 Fifth Avenue in Manhattan. Robert K. Futterman represented Zales and the building owner, Wharton Realty, in the Fulton Street transaction. The company also represented Zales in the Fifth Avenue transaction. Murray Hill Properties represented the building owner.

 

PBS Realty Advisors (212-672-2000) signed a 1,600 sq.ft. lease with Bric’s at 535 Madison Avenue in New York, NY. The location marks the company’s first freestanding store in the United States. The store will feature luggage, handbags and small accessories. 

 

Crosland (704-561-5200) signed the following leases at Rea Village, located at 11516 Providence Road in Charlotte, NC: 2,400 sq.ft. to Alltel; 1,200 sq.ft. to Carriage Dry Cleaners; 1,200 sq.ft. to Curves; 1,200 sq.ft. to Great Clips; 5,500 sq. ft. to Hickory Tavern; 2,400 sq.ft. to Ilios/Noche restaurant; 1,200 sq.ft. to Infinite Audio & Theater; 4,157 sq.ft. to Miller Street Dance Academy; 2,400 sq.ft. to My Bella Spa; 1,767 sq.ft. to Penn Station East Coast Subs; 1,200 sq.ft. to Post Net; 2,800 sq.ft. to Shannon Moran; 1,200 sq.ft. to The Wok; 2,721 sq.ft. to Wolf Camera and 1,200 sq.ft. to X-S Hair Ltd. The company also signed the following leases at Whitehall Commons Shopping Center, located at the intersection of South Tryon Street and Interstate 485 in Charlotte: 6,001 sq.ft. to Blockbuster; 1,400 sq.ft. to Voice Link Wireless; 4,200 sq.ft. to Dragonfly Chinese restaurant; 2,087 sq.ft. to Qdoba; 1,626 sq.ft. to Hershey’s Ice Cream and 910 sq.ft. to Tobacco Trader.

 

Simon Property Group (317-636-1600) plans to add Dick’s Sporting Goods and a 12-screen Kerasotes theater at Washington Square Mall in Indianapolis, IN.

Divaris Real Estate (804-643-4700) signed a lease with East Towne Cleaners for 1,920 sq.ft. at East Towne Plaza, located at 2909 Williamsburg Road in Richmond, VA. The center is cotenanted by Food Lion, Video World and Its Fashions. The company represented the landlord in the transaction.

 

CB Richard Ellis (847-572-1400) represented Rotelli Pizza & Pasta in the leasing of 3,277 sq.ft. at the Shoppes at Genevea Commons in Geneva, IL. The pizzeria features unique appetizers, traditional and gourmet pizza and freshly made pastas, soups and salads.

 

Sage Group Associates (212-758-0437) finalized a 10-year lease agreement with Wachovia Bank for 7,200 sq.ft. at 437 Madison Avenue in New York, NY. The space occupies the ground-floor corner on 49th Street and a portion of the sub-level of the 40-story commercial tower. The company represented the landlord in the transaction. Cushman & Wakefield represented Wachovia Bank. The building occupies a space of 800,000 sq.ft. and is 98.5% leased.

 

Mid-America Asset Management, Inc. (630-954-7300) coordinated the lease of 2,500 sq.ft. to Cellular Advantage at The Quarry, located at the intersection of LaGrange and Joliet Roads in Hodgkins, IL. The company also represented Putting Edge, which signed a lease for a 17,590 sq.ft. miniature golf course and 3,990 sq.ft. to Washington Mutual Bank at the Hoffman Village Shopping Center, located at the intersection of Golf and Barrington Roads in Hoffman Estates, IL. The center is anchored by Dominick’s and The Baby’s Room. The company also handled the leasing of 3,400 sq.ft. to The Image at Marketplace of Matteson, located at the intersection of Crawford Avenue and Lincoln Highway in Matteson, IL. Kenny’s Ribs & Dustie’s Buffet signed a lease for 10,722 sq.ft. at the Burlington Coat Factory-anchored center. Wells Fargo signed a 2,324 sq.ft. lease at Village Crossing, located on Touhy Avenue in Niles, IL. The financial center plans to open during the Spring. The company also handled the leasing of 1,480 sq.ft. to ABC Cleaner at Scharrington Square, located at the intersection of Schaumburg and Barrington Roads in Schaumburg, IL. The center is anchored by Jewel/Osco, Hobby Lobby and Bally Total Fitness. The company also negotiated the following leases: 22,100 sq.ft. to Tile Shop; 1,200 sq.ft. to EBGames, 19,940 sq.ft. to Dollar Tree and 6,400 sq.ft. to Petlands at Tinley Park Plaza, located at the intersection of 159th Street and Harlem Avenue in Tinley Park, IL.

 

Robert Brown & Associates (757-461-0000) signed leases with Ross Dress for Less and David’s Bridal at Coliseum Crossing Center in Hampton, VA. Ross signed for 31,000 sq.ft. and David’s signed for 12,000 sq.ft. The center is currently anchored by Food Lion and Marshall’s.

 

Commercial Retail Advisors, LLC (520-290-3200) represented Camelback Corporate Center Joint Venture, LLC in the lease of 1,200 sq.ft. to Nail Trix at Campbell Plaza. The shopping center is located at the intersection of Campbell Avenue and Glenn Street in Tucson, AZ.
