Growth opportunities are sought throughout NJ and NY during the coming 18 months. Typical leases run 10 years with options. A vanilla shell and turnkey is required. Average sales of $500 psf have been reported.
The Wilder Cos. (617-247-9200) signed a lease for 4,500 sq.ft. with Mattress Giant at Kohl’s Plaza located in Woburn, MA. Opening is slated for the summer. Cotenants include Kohl’s, Pier 1 Imports and Ski Market.
Windstar Properties (214-526-2700) signed a lease for 1,400 sq.ft. with For Him at Avalon Town Center in Granbury, TX. The store specializes in men’s apparel and accessories. Opening is slated for next month. The company also signed a lease for 650 sq.ft. with Dog Specialties, Inc. at West Village located in Dallas, TX. The store specializes in dog-related products. Opening is slated for May.

(402-496-1616) signed the following leases: 28,000 sq.ft. to Hamilton College at Plaza West in Mason City, IA; 50,000 sq.ft. to Gordman’s, 2,400 sq.ft. to Qdoba, 1,428 sq.ft. to EB Games, 1,496 sq.ft. to Air Academy Credit Union, 1,428 sq.ft. to Keva Juice, 1,680 sq.ft. to Sprint and 2,380 sq.ft. to Tan Your Hide at Broadmoor Towne Center North in Colorado Springs, CO; 16,191 sq.ft. with Dollar Tree at 41st and Minnesota in Sioux Falls, SD; 4,840 sq.ft. with Pizza Ranch at Atlantic Plaza in Atlantic, IA; 640 sq.ft. with Sports Line and 802 sq.ft. with Mac-Mex Restaurant at Montwood Mall in El Paso, TX; 1,500 sq.ft. with Curves for Women at Marion Square Plaza in Marion, IA; 1,400 sq.ft. with The Ballet School of West Nebraska at Gering Plaza in Gering, NE; 1,056 sq.ft. with Nictalgie Tailors & Boutique and 975 sq.ft. with Omaha Chiropractic and Acupuncture Center at Empire Park in Omaha, NE.
Flocke & Avoyer Commercial Real Estate (619-280-2600) signed a lease for 35,000 sq.ft. of land with In-N-Out Burger at Creekside Market Place, a center located at the intersection of San Marcos Boulevard and Highway 78 in San Marcos, CA. The lease is for 20 years and a consideration of $2,046,142. Opening is slated for July. The company also signed a lease for 975 sq.ft. with Shirley’s Kitch ‘N Pantry at Rancho Penasquitos Towne Centre located at 13289-6 Black Mountain Road in San Diego, CA. The lease is for three years and a consideration of $81,367. Opening is slated for this month.
Breslin Realty, Inc. (516-741-7400) signed a long-term lease with Lady of America at 128 Northern Boulevard in Great Neck, NY. Lady of America is a 500-store chain of express women’s workout centers with stores throughout the New York, NY area. The space consists of 2,350 sq.ft. and will be joining Blockbuster Video in the center. Michael A. Pollack Real Estate Investments (480-888-0888) signed a lease for 9,134 sq.ft. with Paragon Dance and 4,050 sq.ft. with Carpet Trends at Southwind Plaza, a center located at 931 East Elliot Road in Tempe, AZ.

The company also signed a lease for 1,600 sq.ft. with Tan Seekers, a local Pittsburgh tanning salon, at Cranberry Gardens Plaza Shopping Center in Cranberry Township, PA. The company also signed a lease for 2,950 sq.ft. with Expressions Hair and Nails at Eastland Plaza located in Columbus, OH.
Horizon Properties or Miami, Inc. (786-514-7149) signed a five-year lease for 5,500 sq.ft. with Washington Mutual Bank at Festival Plaza, a center located at 8534 8th Street in Miami Lakes, FL. The company also signed a five-year lease for 3,086 sq.ft. with Expressway Auto Tag at Nautica Square, a center located in Hialeah Gardens, FL.
CB Richard Ellis, Inc. (312-935-1400) signed a ground lease for 26,525 sq.ft. with Harris Trust and Savings at Matteson Center located in Matteson, IL. Matteson Center is a former Kmart redevelopment that is tenanted by Sportmart, Borders, Linens ‘N Things and Marshalls. The bank is planning to develop a 4,000 sq.ft. branch on the lot with four drive-thru lanes. Opening is slated for late summer.
