Real Estate Professionals Making the News Westrust (818-878-9300) hired Dennis Borowsky as director of leasing. He will be responsible for the leasing and marketing at a number of the company’s centers. Prior to joining Westrust, Borowsky was a partner with Urban Street Advisors where he was responsible for leasing on behalf of clients, including The Irvine Co. and Capital & Counties. Prior to that, he spent three years as vice president of leasing with Donahue Schriber in Newport Beach, CA. He has been responsible for leasing and development of several retail projects including Tustin Market Place, Anaheim Plaza, Natomas Marketplace, Creekside Town Center, The River at Rancho Mirage, West Hollywood Gateway and Quail Hill Village Center.
Coreland Cos. (714-573-7780) announced that Fred Godinez has joined its brokerage division as a leasing/sales associate. Godinez, a retail leasing specialist, was most recently a vice president with NAI Capital Commercial in Newport Beach, CA.
Acadia Realty Trust (914-288-8199) hired Edmond J. Ezra as vice president of leasing. Prior to Acadia, Ezra spent the last 11 years as the vice president of mall leasing at Vornado Realty Trust. The company also hired Michael J. Dobeck Jr. as a regional real estate representative and Paul Monaco as a senior leasing representative. |
