J.H. Snyder Co. is developing Bella Terra, a $170 million open-air lifestyle center located at the intersection of Edinger Avenue and Beach Boulevard, just south of the 405 Freeway in Huntington Beach, CA. Bella Terra is currently 85% leased and is replacing an existing center and will have a GLA of 780,000 sq.ft. The development will incorporate an Italian village design with large public spaces alongside shopping and dining alleys. The de-malled center will have 71 shops and restaurants, including a 20-screen, 4,000-seat Century Theatres megaplex, along with retail tenants including Bed Bath & Beyond, ULTA Cosmetics, Solitaire Diamonds, Barnes & Noble, Cost Plus, Staples, Circuit City, T-Mobile and Kohl’s. Restaurants include Macaroni Grill, Kabuki, Daphne’s Greek Café, Pomodoro Cucina Italiana, Islands, California Pizza Kitchen, Johnny Rockets, La Salsa, Ben & Jerry’s and Peet’s Coffee. Bella Terra is replacing Huntington Mall, a one million sq.ft., open-air center.

Resort Properties Group is preleasing Windmill Plaza, a center located in Las Vegas, NV. Opening is slated for the third quarter of this year. Tenants will include Quarters N’Awlins Bar and Grill, Purrfect Auto and Foxy Nails & Spa.
