Real Estate Professionals Making The News Staubach Retail (972-361-5422) promoted the following four employees in its Denver, CO office: Don Edrington and Mike McCormick have been promoted to senior vice presidents; Joren Peterson has been promoted to vice president and Rich Otterstetter has been promoted to senior associate. Edrington joined Staubach in 2003 to open its Denver office. As senior vice president, he will continue to serve retail clients. McCormick has more than 15 years of retail experience and he will continue to provide strategic planning and real estate services for clients; Peterson has more than 18 years of experience and has been responsible for the strategic planning, market planning, site selection and execution for many national and regional retailers; and Otterstetter has more than 17 years of experience and will specialize in tenant representation for national and regional clients.
Newmark Merrill Cos. (818-710-6100) promoted Michael Mendez to property manager. He will be responsible for the day-to-day management of three properties in San Diego, CA, including overseeing all maintenance, operations and tenant improvements for the property. Mendez joined the company in 2004.
Coldwell Banker Commercial CRA, LLC (314-206-4600) hired Kenny Balvin as a sales and leasing associate. Balvin will handle all types of commercial real estate, including office, retail and investment properties, with an emphasis on the industrial market. Prior to joining Coldwell Banker Commercial, Balvin spent six years as a registered principal and equity trader, where he managed an office of proprietary traders and customers, supervising $15 million worth of margin and proprietary cash amounts.
Inland Real Estate Investment Corp. (630-218-8000) hired George A. Pandaleon as senior vice president and managing director of institutional investments. As managing director of institutional investments, Pandaleon’s responsibilities include developing and managing strategic institutional joint ventures for Inland-sponsored real estate investment trusts. He will also work with other Inland companies that acquire income-producing properties, develop land and originate high-leverage commercial mortgages. Prior to joining Inland, Pandaleon was executive managing director of the Institutional Investment Group at Grubb & Ellis. Before that, he was a partner with CMD Realty Investors.
Crosland, Inc. (704-529-1166) acquired Armistead Barkley, Inc., a Nashville, TN-based real estate development firm. Bill Barkley has been named president, while Steve Armistead was named senior vice president of Crosland’s Tennessee division, which will be based in Nashville. Armistead will head up the leasing, brokering and marketing areas for the new division. He has 16 years of experience in commercial real estate in Nashville and Boston, MA, with a focus on preleasing and business development for new projects. Barkley has more than 20 years of experience in all areas of commercial real estate and has developed more than one million sq.ft.
AmCap, Inc. (203-327-2001) hired Jake Bisenius as senior acquisitions associate. He will be responsible for acquisitions, dispositions and financing for the entire AmCap portfolio. Prior to joining AmCap, Bisenius worked with Vornado Realty Trust in the acquisitions and capital markets group. |
