Real Estate Professionals Making the News Weichert Commercial Brokerage, Inc. (973-898-8672) hired James W. Manning and Henry Moore to the company’s Iselin, NJ branch office. Manning joined Weichert as a vice president specializing in the sale and lease of commercial and retail properties throughout Mercer County, NJ, with a focus on the Princeton and West Windsor areas. Prior to joining Weichert, Manning was the general manager of The Capital at Chelsea. In that position, he was responsible for all management and leasing issues related to the 378-unit mixed-use property. Moore joined the company as a vice president. He will specialize in the sale and leasing of investment properties throughout the tri-state area. Prior to joining Weichert, Moore worked as a commercial director at Century 21- Premier Properties.
Coreland Cos. (714-573-7780) named Sharon Shifflett to the position of regional real estate manager. Previously, she was a senior property manager for Douglas Emmett in Los Angeles, CA. Shifflett will be responsible for supervising the real estate management and operational activities of a portfolio consisting primarily of retail and mixed-use properties located throughout north Los Angeles County and Ventura, CA.
Commercial Retail Advisors (520-290-3200) hired Brendon Scott to its team of retail specialists. Scott was formerly associated with the Volk Co. as a retail specialist.
Advantis Real Estate Services Co. (919-493-6905) appointed Jamai Blivin as associate broker. She will focus on tenant representation. Blivin comes to Advantis/GVA from the financial services firm of Sterne, Agee & Leach, Inc., where she served as senior vice president of the private client group.
Coldwell Banker Commercial CRA, LLC (314-569-7100) appointed Bruce J. Brophy, Carl J. Conceller and Richard H. Guth to positions within the St. Louis Association of Realtors. Brophy was elected president, and Conceller, SIOR, principal, was elected secretary-treasurer. Guth was named vice chairman of the Commercial Information Exchange board. Brophy has over 25 years experience and oversees a management portfolio in excess of three million sq.ft. Conceller has nearly 30 years experience in the commercial real estate industry. Guth has exclusively represented several property owners for more than a decade.
