Real Estate Professionals Making The News Studley (310-444-1000) named David Gordon to its board of directors. Gordon is an executive managing director of Studley’s national accounts group and he is based in the west Los Angeles, CA office. Gordon has been with the company since 1985 and is a member of the company’s West Coast Management Committee, a five-member body that oversees all of the company’s offices in southern CA. Gordon’s primary area of expertise is servicing corporate users with multiple facility requirements. His other specialty areas include national account management, southern CA lease and sale transactions and strategic planning.
DLC Management (866-DLC-MGMT) hired John DeWolfe as a senior leasing representative in the Midwest region. In this role, DeWolfe will be responsible for the marketing and leasing of DLC’s expanding Midwestern portfolio. Included in this portfolio are 14 centers from OH to MO, with such anchors as Kroger, Best Buy, Lowe’s Home Improvement, Marshalls, Stein Mart, A.J. Wright, Home Depot, Burlington Coat Factory, OfficeMax and Kmart. DeWolfe comes to DLC after spending five years with Chicago, IL-based retail redeveloper, Tri-Land Properties, Inc., as an inhouse leasing representative working on heavy redevelopment projects. Prior to joining Tri-Land, he spent two years with a local owner and property manager in the Chicago, IL area, Matanky Realty Group.
Bieri Co. (313-962-2800) hired Alexander Bieri as a real estate and marketing project manager. In this role, Bieri will contribute to retail operations and business consulting. His primary focus is on retail analysis and site selection, plus landlord and tenant initiatives. The company also hired Gregory R. McDuffee as a senior consultant. McDuffee specializes in strategic planning, public/private sector partnerships, market/financial analysis, real estate site selection and acquisition, plus community and faith-based development. Bieri Co. specializes in consulting, site selection, lease negotiation, real estate transactions, dealmaking, brokerage, competitive analysis, market research and custom studies.
Katz & Associates Corp. (845-735-6666) hired Julie Gardner as director of real estate for the southern region. Gardner will be based out of the company’s Charlotte, NC office and will assist the company’s clients in GA, NC and SC. Gardner was most recently a broker with Keith Corp. in Charlotte.
Combined Properties (310-205-9616) announced the relocation of the company’s West Coast office to 9320 Wilshire Boulevard in Beverly Hills, CA.
