GVA Williams of Connecticut (203-324-0800) hired Ted Grogan at the firm’s vice president. Grogan joins GVA Williams from the Stamford office of CB Richard Ellis, where he was a broker specializing in tenant and owner representation, strategic planning, consulting, financial analysis and space acquisition and disposition. Grogan held previous positions at D.H. White Commercial Real Estate Services and Prudential Commercial Real Estate.

 

Coldwell Banker Commercial CRA, LLC (314-569-7100) hired Gerald Worley as a senior property manager, where he will specialize in all types of commercial real estate, including office, retail and investment properties. Worley has more than 33 years of experience in the real estate industry. He has managed such properties as St. Louis Union Station, the Bank of America Tower and Pierre Laclede Center I and II and assisted in the development of Interco Corporate Tower.

 

The Hampshire Cos. (973-292-9595) named  Deborah Haller asset manager for the firm’s Hampshire Partners Fund VI, a $235 million institutional real estate discretionary investment fund.  Haller will be responsible for all aspects of asset management, including facility and property management, operations, leasing and financial reporting for a number of the fund’s properties, which include industrial, office and retail properties in the mid-Atlantic states. Prior to joining Hampshire, Haller served as senior vice president at Triton Pacific Capital, LLC in Los Angeles, CA.

 

DLC Management Corp. (866-DLC-MGMT) hired Michael Desmarais as vice president of property management. Most recently, Desmarais was the director of property management for the Northwest for New Plan Excel Realty Trust, Inc. and has over 20 years of experience. He has worked for Montgomery Group Affiliates, CNM Associates and Kravco.

 

Equity One, Inc. (305-947-1664) announced that Cindy Morse will serve as executive vice president of asset management. Morse has more than 15 years of commercial real estate experience throughout the U.S. Prior to joining Equity One in 2004, she was with Wal*Mart Realty, a division of Wal*Mart Stores, Inc., where she was responsible for tenanting a portfolio exceeding eight million sq.ft.

 

Sperry Van Ness (949-225-1883) has expanded in the New England commercial real estate market by naming Robert F. Shannon as a senior advisor. The addition of Shannon is part of the company’s national expansion program, which has grown from nine markets to more than 100 markets in approximately three years. With 29 years of commercial real estate experience, Shannon specializes in the sale of retail properties, single tenant net leased properties and 1031 tax deferred exchanges. Prior to joining Sperry Van Ness, Shannon owned The Shannon Company, a real estate appraisal, consulting and brokerage firm, which he started in 1987.

 

Empire Commercial Real Estate (909-987-7788) hired John Rodrigue to its management team as project director. In this capacity, Rodrigue will be responsible for managing all aspects of development, including land planning, entitlement, design, financing, leasing and construction. Rodrigue held posts at Voit Commercial Brokerage, Sempra Energy and most recently with RREEF Real Estate Investment Managers. He served as district manager for RREEF, where he was responsible for more than $390 million in assets in both Los Angeles and Orange County, CA, including a portfolio of 3.8 million sq.ft. and 330 tenants. He also supervised large-scale construction projects.
