Wilson Commercial Real Estate (310-473        -4424) was awarded the exclusive marketing and leasing contract for CityPlace at Long Beach. CityPlace is located in downtown Long Beach, CA and is bound by West 4th Street to the south, West 6th Street to the north, Pine Avenue to the west and Elm Street to the east. The mixed-use center consists of 365,000 sq.ft. of retail space and is anchored by Wal*Mart, Nordstrom Rack, Ross Dress for Less, Big 5 Sporting Goods, Anna’s Linens, Ashley Stewart, Footaction, Motherhood Maternity, Payless Shoes and Panda Express. Zizibeh Clothing, Inc. and Artifacts recently signed leases at the center. Zizibeh Clothing plans to open a 6,026 sq.ft. store next month and Artifacts is looking to open its 2,500 sq.ft. furniture store during the first quarter of 2006.

 

Fameco Real Estate (610-834-8000) was selected to exclusively manage Audubon Square Shopping Center located at the intersection of Egypt and Trooper Roads in Audubon, PA. The179,536 sq.ft. center is anchored by Giant and cotenanted by  GameStop, Hair Cuttery, Panera, T-Mobile and Starbucks. It also includes eight pad sites totaling 52,765 sq.ft. occupied by Applebee’s, Arby’s, Bertucci’s, Harleysville National Bank, McDonald’s, Qdoba Mexican Grille and Wawa.

 

Retail Resources, LLC (920-497-9429) is representing Pet$ense in its expansion nationwide. The pet stores occupy spaces of 4,000 sq.ft. to 5,000 sq.ft. in outlet centers. Typical leases run five years with five-year options. A vanilla box and tenant improvement is required. Plans call for 18 openings during the coming 18 months. Area demographics include a population of 100,000 within five miles earning $45,000 as the average household income.

 

Felenstein Was & Associates (212-772-9829) is representing Bon Worth in its expansion throughout NJ and PA. The women’s apparel stores occupy spaces of 1,300 sq.ft. to 1,600 sq.ft. in supermarket-anchored strip centers.

 

Finard & Co. (781-418-6243) is seeking retail sites for KnowFat! Lifestyle Grille in Cambridge and the north shore of MA; Burlington, VT; Portland, ME and NH. The restaurants occupy spaces of 2,200 sq.ft. to 3,000 sq.ft. and combine quick and healthy dining with a convenience-style retail store that offers nutritional supplements, vitamins and healthy snack alternatives. The company currently operates three units in Shrewsbury, Watertown and Woburn, MA and a franchised store at Downtown Crossing in Boston, MA.
