 The Retail Connection, L.P.

 (214-572-0777) announced the following internal promotions: Robert Dennis was hired as executive vice president of brokerage and will manage the company’s southern CA office. Dennis has been actively involved in the retail brokerage industry for over 15 years and currently represents Gold’s Gym and Ashley Furniture among other national retailers; Dennis I. Leibovitz has been promoted to executive vice president of brokerage for the company. He was previously a senior vice president of brokerage with the company; David Sacher, Mitch Traub and Wyatt Russo were promoted from vice presidents of brokerage to senior vice presidents of brokerage and Tim Donovan was promoted from assistant vice president of brokerage to vice president of brokerage for the company.
  


 The Macerich Co.

 (310-394-6000) promoted Stephen L. Spector from senior vice president and associate general counsel to senior vice president and general counsel. Spector, who is based out of the company’s Santa Monica, CA corporate office, has over 20 years of experience in the legal profession. Prior to joining Macerich, he worked for over five years at Los Angeles, CA-based law firms specializing in real estate, corporate and securities law matters.
  

Metro Commercial Real Estate, Inc.
 (610-246-2606) expanded its retail brokerage division with the addition of Brandon Anapol and Michael Gorman. Anapol, who works out of the company’s Conshohocken, PA office, will serve as broker for Metro Commercial’s leasing division. Prior to joining the company, Anapol worked in residential real estate with Prudential Fox Roach. Gorman, who works out of the company’s Mt. Laurel, NJ office, will also serve as a broker for Metro Commercial’s leasing division. Prior to joining Metro Commercial, Gorman worked for Legend Properties.
  


 Vornado Realty Trust

 (212-894-7000) announced that Robert Entin, president and chairman of Integrated Business Systems, has accepted a position as chief information officer for Vornado. Entin will remain as chairman and chief technology officer of IBS, a provider of real estate automation solutions based in Fairfield, NJ. Entin founded IBS in 1979 and the firm has grown to service more than 120 prominent real estate companies. IBS and Vornado began working together in 1997 after Vornado acquired The Mendik Co., a long-time user of the IBS System. Since then, IBS has handled property management and accounting functions for about 50% of Vornado’s 87 million sq.ft. national portfolio.
