The fitness centers occupy spaces of 18,000 sq.ft. to 45,000 sq.ft. For freestanding locations, the company requires a land area of 3.2 acres. Competition is cited as LA Fitness and Bally’s. A vanilla shell and specific improvements are required. Area demographics include a population of 125,000 within three miles earning $40,000 as the average household income. 24 Hour Fitness is looking to open 10 locations during the coming 18 months.
