Lease Signings


Woolbright Development, Inc. (561-989-2265) signed the following leases at Glades Mall located in Boca Raton, FL: 1,226 sq.ft. with Indigo Fruit Smoothies, 1,990 sq.ft. with Peter Copolla Salon; 1,078 sq.ft. with Mad Dog; 4,025 sq.ft. with Boca Baby & Kids and 2,704 sq.ft. with Leonard Albanese & Sons Builders.

 

Excess Space Retail Services, Inc. (516-365-6400) completed the following transactions: Payless subleased 3,000 sq.ft. to Carzzz, Inc.; Borders subleased 20,630 sq.ft. to Off Broadway Shoes and Eckerd subleased 12,000 sq.ft. to Value Drugs, Inc.

 

Michael Salove Co. (215-568-2600) signed a lease with South Moon Under on Chestnut Street in Philadelphia, PA. The stores sell a unique blend of women’s and men’s clothing, accessories, shoes, jewelry, swimwear, home décor and gifts.

 

REP Commercial, Inc. (949-585-7640) negotiated the following 10 leases at Foothill Village, a 27,000 sq.ft. center located at the intersection of Foothill Boulevard and Redwood Avenue in Fontana, CA: 5,538 sq.ft. with Noble Roman Pizza & Toscano Subs; 3,480 sq.ft. with Infinite Vision Mortgage & Professional Real Estate Group; 2,320 sq.ft. with Moonstar Dollar Store; 2,320 sq.ft. with Humbertas Bridal Store; 1,955 sq.ft. with Marisco’s Los Compadres Mexican Seafood Restaurant; 1,800 sq.ft. with R&J Liquor Store; 1,160 sq.ft. with Cali Cuts Beauty Salon and 1,160 sq.ft. with JK Nails & Spa. The tenants are expected to open next month or in June. The center is located adjacent to a 68-unit senior apartment complex and is located a half mile east of a new development planned for 131 single-family homes and 110 apartments.

 

Royal Properties, Inc. (914-237-3403) signed a 10-year lease for 8,500 sq.ft. with Swimland, one of the largest pool dealers in the New York, NY area, on Saw Mill River Road in Yonkers, NY. Area retail includes ShopRite, Dunkin’ Donuts, Nextel, Domino’s, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, Quizno’s, McDonald’s and Subway.

 

Mid-America Asset Management, Inc. (630-954-7300) signed leases with the following retailers at the seven-acre Regency Place development located in Oakbrook Terrace, IL: 6,200 sq.ft. with Volare Ristorante and 3,200 sq.ft. with Ayna Salon & Spa. The development will include 14,400 sq.ft. of retail.

 

Fameco Real Estate (610-834-8000) signed a lease for 15,235 sq.ft. with Petco at Whiteland Town Center, a 357,000 sq.ft. center located at the intersection of Routes 30 and 100 in Exton, PA. Opening for Petco is slated for June. The center is anchored by Acme, Kohl’s, T.J. Maxx and Marshalls. The company also signed a lease for 3,188 sq.ft. with Sherwin-Williams at Village at Newtown South, a 91,000 sq.ft. center located on South Eagle Road in Newtown, PA. Opening for Sherwin-Williams is slated for this month. The center is anchored by Newtown Farmers Market and Center Club.

 

Levin Management Corp. (201-796-7788) signed a lease for 5,963 sq.ft. with Lane Bryant at the Somerset Shopping Center, a 214,202 sq.ft. center located at the intersection of Routes 206/202 and Route 22 in Bridgewater, NJ. The center is anchored by Barnes & Noble and Linens ‘N Things. Cotenants include Gap, GapKids, babyGap, GapBody, Eastern Mountain Sports, Annie Sez, Pier 1 Imports, T.G.I. Friday’s, Mikasa, Rite Aid, Hallmark and Pearle Vision.

 

Winick Realty Group (212-792-2644) signed a 10-year lease for 13,000 sq.ft. with Outback Steakhouse and Carrabba’s Italian Grill at the Staten Island Mall located on Richmond Avenue in Staten Island, NY. The new “dual-concept” restaurants will stand side by side at “The Crossings” at the mall. The restaurants include outdoor exposure and are slated to open during the summer. Area retail includes Sears, Macy’s, Babies “R” Us, JCPenney, Banana Republic, bebe, Sephora and Talbot’s.

 

Coldwell Banker Commercial World Group (402-697-8899) signed leases with the following tenants at The Shoppes at Thomsen Mile, a 14,000 sq.ft. center located at the intersection of 168th and West Maple Road in Omaha, NE: 3,200 sq.ft. with Payless ShoeSource; 2,400 sq.ft. with Radio Shack; 2,400 sq.ft. with GameStop; 2,800 sq.ft. with Walnut Ridge Family Dental and 5,000 sq.ft. at a freestanding space with Wells Fargo Bank. The Shoppes at Thomsen Mile is part of The Thomsen Mile, a 145-acre, mixed-use development anchored by a 211,846 sq.ft. Wal*Mart Supercenter and a 39,000 sq.ft. Dillon Bros. Harley Davidson retail store.

 

Baum Realty Group, Inc. (312-666-3000) signed a long-term lease for 1,508 sq.ft. with Associated Bank on North LaSalle Street in Chicago, IL. The space will be located in a 629,040 sq.ft. office tower.

 

The Mid-America Management Corp. (216-771-4440) signed a lease for 17,460 sq.ft. with Aldi at Airway Shopping Center, a 217,000 sq.ft. center located in Dayton, OH.

 

Neal Realty & Investments, Inc. (954-568-0530) signed the following leases throughout FL: 10 years for 1,826 sq.ft. with Papa John’s at Walgreen’s Plaza located at the intersection of Andrews Avenue and 29th Street in Wilton Manors; five years for 1,400 sq.ft. with Weight Watchers of Greater Miami at Dixie Center, a 102,415 sq.ft. center located at the intersection of 304th Street and Dixie Highway in Homestead; five years for 1,620 sq.ft. with Liquidity Investments at the North Lauderdale Wal*Mart Center located at the southwest quadrant of Rock Island Road and McNab Road in North Lauderdale; and five years for 1,400 sq.ft. with Globelend Mortgage at Paradise Promenade Shopping Center, a 70,271 sq.ft. center located at the intersection of Stirling Road and 58th Avenue in Davie. The center is anchored by Publix.
