Exclusives & Leasing Assignments The Eddy Co. (949-640-7475) is representing Hamburger Hamlet in its expansion throughout southern CA and the East Coast. The restaurants will be named after their location, as in Hamlet on Sunset and Hamlet Brentwood. The company currently operates five locations throughout the west Los Angeles, CA area and three in the Washington, DC area. The Eddy Co. also is representing Ruby’s Diner in its expansion throughout southern CA, HI and Las Vegas, NV, as well as FL, Chicago, IL, TX and portions of the East Coast. The company also is representing the following retailers in their expansion: Nakajima USA/Sanrio in its plan to open 125 to 150 stores nationwide during the coming three to five years; Lids/Hat World and Journey’s in its plan to open 10 locations throughout HI during the coming two years; Benetton in its expansion throughout AZ, CA and Las Vegas, NV; Rosasen, an Italian “golf” inspired men’s and women’s concept store, in its expansion throughout southern CA and Matchbox in its expansion throughout the West Coast and East Coast during the coming three to five years.
American Property Exchange (858-630-2922) is representing Vocelli Pizza in its expansion throughout FL, MD, NC, OH, PA, SC and VA. The pizzerias occupy spaces of 1,100 sq.ft. to 1,200 sq.ft. in strip and specialty centers. Typical leases run five years with a five-year option. Preferred demographics include a population of 30,000 within three miles. Plans call for 60 openings during the coming 18 months and as many as 112 during 2007. Competition is cited as Domino’s, Papa John’s and Pizza Hut.
Horizon Realty Services, Inc. (847-870-8585) is representing the following retailers: Verlo Mattress Factory Store in its expansion throughout the Mundelein/Vernon Hills, IL area for a factory store and in the Lombard, IL area for a showroom store. The stores occupy spaces of 8,000 sq.ft. to 9,000 sq.ft., with 3,500 sq.ft. of showroom space. Showroom stores are 3,500 sq.ft. in high-profile retail locations. Freestanding locations also will be considered and the acquisition of sites is also considered. Verlo Mattress Factory Store currently operates seven locations throughout the Chicago, IL area; and Sprint Nextel in its expansion throughout WI. The stores occupy spaces of 1,200 sq.ft. to 1,500 sq.ft. Corporate locations occupy spaces of 2,000 sq.ft. A tenant improvement allowance is requested. Typical leases run five years with three to five-year options. Sprint Nextel currently operates over 40 corporate stores in the Chicago, IL region and over 100 preferred agent locations. |
