In addition, the Schultz Organization is representing Fatburger in the restaurant chain’s expansion in NJ. Spaces from 2,200 sq.ft. to 2,500 sq.ft. are of interest. The company also is representing Party Fair in its expansion in NJ. The party goods and supplies stores use spaces of 10,000 sq.ft. to 12,000 sq.ft. GVA Advantis Real Estate Services Co. (757-754-4553) has been named the exclusive leasing and management agent for the Williamsburg Shopping Center in Williamsburg, VA. Located at the intersection of Route 199 and Route 5, the 150,000 sq.ft. center is anchored by Food Lion and Movie Scene. The center has more than 40 tenants.

The national furniture retailer has 68 locations for sale, ranging from 4,800 sq.ft. to 16,750 sq.ft. in AL, DE, FL, GA, LA, MD, MI, NC, NJ, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA and Washington, DC. Fameco Real Estate (610-834-8000) is representing Aldi in the company’s expansion in eastern PA and NJ. Aldi is looking to acquire, lease or ground lease sites in community and regional shopping districts with convenient access to population centers of at least 35,000 within three miles. The supermarkets use spaces of 16,485 sq.ft. with at least 85 dedicated parking spaces. The company currently operates 5,000 stores in 16 countries, including 800 locations in 26 states from KS to the east coast.
The Goldstein Group (908-781-6420) has been named the exclusive leasing agent for five properties in NJ, including a 41,000 sq.ft. strip center in Paramus located on Route 17 North and anchored by J&R Cigars. The center has space available of 4,800 sq.ft. and 5,000 sq.ft. The site has an average daily traffic count of 157,000 vehicles. A 25,000 sq.ft. freestanding building on Union Avenue in Rutherford has 20,000 sq.ft. of divisible space for lease. A mixed-use project on Station Square in Rutherford has units available of 1,500 sq.ft. and 5,400 sq.ft. In Barnegat, the company also is leasing a 28,000 sq.ft. strip center at the intersection of West Bay Avenue and Nautilus Drive. Nearby tenants include Wawa, Rite Aid, Walgreens, Burger King, Genuardi’s Market and First Financial Bank. In Newark, a 3,000 sq.ft. building on Commerce Street has 1,500 sq.ft. of retail space available.
Mid-America Real Estate-Wisconsin, LLC (414-273-4600) has been named the exclusive leasing agent for a redevelopment project in downtown Milwaukee, WI. The 500,000 sq.ft. site was converted from industrial into retail space, student housing for University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee students, art studios and a film screening room. The $69 million project owned by the university includes 24,138 sq.ft. divisible street-level retail space. Area retail includes Whole Foods.

Wachovia is looking for 3,000 sq.ft. to 3,500 sq.ft. endcap spaces or one acre for freestanding units in Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Dutchess and Orange counties in NY. Bonefish Grill is looking for 5,000 sq.ft. inline spaces or 1.6-acre freestanding units in CT. Panera Bread is looking to expand in Westchester, Rockland, Putnam, Dutchess and Orange counties of NY using 4,500 sq.ft. to 5,000 sq.ft. spaces. American Apparel is looking to expand into New England, NJ and NY and urban and university locations throughout the U.S. using spaces of 3,000 sq.ft. Cingular is looking for inline or freestanding spaces of 3,500 sq.ft. for its expansion into Westchester and Putnam counties, NY.
