Real Estate Professionals Making The News


O&S Holdings, LLC (310-207-8600) named Jenny Cushing King as vice president of leasing.  Her responsibilities will include managing the leasing efforts of the company’s portfolio of operating and development properties.  She will also supervise the leasing staff along with outside brokers.  Prior to joining O&S, Ms. King served as director of real estate for Cold Stone Creamery. The company also recently appointed Holt Dunlop as vice president of capital markets.  Holt will be responsible for raising debt and equity capital, as well as identifying acquisition opportunities.  Prior to joining O&S Holdings, LLC, he spent 10 years with CBRE Melody. 

CB Richard Ellis – Phoenix Division – (602-735-5555) promoted Bob Pearlstein to senior vice president.  Pearlstein joined the company in 1996 and has worked as tenant rep for national chains such as Cingular Wireless, Frazee Paints, Half Price Books and The Avenue Shops.

 

Katz & Associates (216-378-7606) announced that Mike Olsen has joined the company as Director of Real Estate in the Midwest region.  Olsen comes to the company with over 10 years experience in real estate and previously worked at Zaremba Group and Developers Diversified Realty.  He will assist clients throughout the IN, KY, MI and OH markets.

KG Urban Advisors (212-372-2282) announces the arrival of Michael Lifland to the company as senior vice president.  His responsibilities will be to oversee acquisitions, asset management and investor relations for the firm. The company is actively acquiring retail projects in the Northeast. 

 

Wrightwood Capital (312-324-5900) brought on board Weir Goodwin IV as senior director of investments.  The company opened a new office in Houston, TX. Mr. Goodwin comes to Wrightwood from Wells Fargo Bank where he was managing director for the commercial mortgage group’s TX region.  With the addition of Weir and the new office, Wrightwood Capital is looking to expand its presence throughout the southwest region by providing creative capital solutions to the commercial real estate industry.

 

Staubach Retail (617-725-1970) has announced the hiring of Mark Doherty as senior vice president and principal.  The company also recently opened a new office in Boston, MA, which Doherty is to run.  With over 10 years in the real estate industry, Doherty has significant experience in representing national retailers with finding new locations, retail development and investment sales and has been involved in several major retail projects throughout the Boston area market. 

 

GVA Williams (212-716-3500) announced that Brian Feist has joined the company as senior managing director. With over 25 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, his responsibilities will be to continue to represent and advise tenants in leasing transactions throughout the nation.  The company also brought on board Ted Rotante as senior managing director.  Rotante has 25 years experience with tenant representation throughout Manhattan, NY and the northeast region. The company also announces the following hires: P.J. Sala as managing director.  His responsibilities will be focused on brokerage services, with an emphasis on strategic consultative services; Eric LaCoursiere as associate director.  His responsibilities will be focused on brokerage services, with an emphasis on business development, consultative services and market research; Cory Albrycht as associate.  He will be focused primarily on brokerage services; Ward Bitter as investments analyst.  He will be focused on research and analysis for the investment sales team.

 

ArciTerra Group, LLC (602-840-6800) hired Ryan O’Connell as vice president of acquisitions.  His duties will include the analysis and structuring of real estate development, acquisitions, dispositions and new business development.  Over the past two years, Mr. O’Connell has closed over $600 million of real estate transactions.

 

MacFarlane Partners (202-742-6589) announces that Brad Dockser has joined the company as principal in its new office in Washington, DC.  His responsibilities will include sourcing, negotiating and closing prospective investments and to oversee development projects during their construction and stabilization.  Dockser will also be working closely with public officials and the company’s development partners in the creation of public/private partnerships that promote urban renewal.  With more than 20 years in the industry, Dockser comes to MacFarlane from Western Development Corporation where he was partner and COO.

 

Equity One, Inc. (305-947-1664) hired Gregory Andrews as chief financial officer.  Andrews was formerly principal at Green Street Advisors and is now enlisted to help the company with its aggressive expansion.

 

Across America Real Estate Corp. (303-893-1003) announced that Jay Cremer has been appointed regional vice president. His responsibilities will include overseeing new business development in the southeast region.  Cremer comes to the company with over 17 years experience in real estate and finance and previously worked with Mintage Realty Corporation.

 

Grosvenor (202-293-1235) hired D.J. Sworobuk as senior asset manager at the   Washington, DC office location.  His duties will include the management of a portfolio of Class A urban office and suburban retail properties throughout Washington, DC.  Sworobuk previously worked with Richmond American Homes as land acquisition manager.  He comes to the company at a time when they are looking to expand their Washington, DC metropolitan area portfolio through acquisitions and development opportunities.

 

ComNet Realty, Inc. (561-999-0006) appointed Mark Kline as director.  Kline will be specializing in the brokerage of commercial real estate throughout south FL.

 

Advantis Real Estate Services Co.(757-754-4553) has brought on board Stephanie Salazar as a retail leasing associate in the Norfolk office. She is responsible for leasing shopping centers in Hampton Roads and Northeastern NC. Salazar previously worked as the marketing coordinator for Armada Hoffler. She is licensed in VA and NC.
