Lease Signings


Lee & Associates (608-327-4000) signed a 10-year lease for 4,845 sq.ft. with Za’s Italian Café on State Street in Madison, WI.  The café plans to open in January 2007.

 

Greenleaf Properties, Inc. (913-402-9222) signed leases with the following retailers at the Shoppes at Deer Creek Woods in Overland Park, KS: Chick-Fil-A, Edible Arrangements, Jimmy Johns and One Stop Decorating.

 

Mid-America Asset Management, Inc. (630-954-7300) signed a lease for 6,300 sq.ft. with Sweet Tomatoes at Meridian Retail Center in Aurora, IL.  The 161,484 sq.ft. center is anchored by Guitar Center and PetSmart.  Sweet Tomatoes will demolish the existing Uno Chicago Grill and open spring or summer 2007.

 

Goodman Real Estate Services Group, LLC (216-381-8200) signed the following leases: Bright Now! Dental at City View Center in Garfield Heights, OH; Papa John’s Pizza and Sprint PCS at Macedonia Town Square located on State Route 82 between Interstate 271 and South Bedford Road in Macedonia, OH.  Goodman Real Estate Services is exclusively representing Bright Now! Dental throughout northeastern OH.

 

Branded Concept Development (212-260-5210) signed a lease for 1,600 sq.ft. with Lenny’s at 613 9th Avenue in Manhattan, NY. The company currently has seven locations operating in Manhattan with another unit under development.

 

Woolbright Development, Inc. (561-989-2240) signed leases with the following retailers at The Collection of Vanderbilt, a 225,000 sq.ft. upscale center, located at the intersection of Vanderbilt Beach Road and Airport Pulling Road in Naples, FL: 1,365 sq.ft. with AmTrust Bank; 849 sq.ft. wth Black Truffle Chocolatier; 3,200 sq.ft. with Cosi; 1,125 sq.ft. with Juiceblendz; 1,067 sq.ft. with Merle Norman; 1,200 sq.ft. with Persona Boutique and 1,500 sq.ft. with Tami’s Trendy with a Twist.  The center is anchored by Fresh Market and cotenants include Pauli Moto’s Asian Bistro, Starbucks, Zazou and Ziggity Dot Children’s Lifestyle

 

Stiles Retail Group (954-627-9300) signed a 15-year lease for 44,860 sq.ft. with LA Fitness at the Coralwood Shopping Center in Cape Coral, FL.  The 343,000 sq.ft. center is anchored by Bealls, JCPenney, Kmart and Winn-Dixie.  The fitness center is currently under construction and is scheduled to open next year.

 

The Goldstein Group (201-703-9700) completed eight lease transactions for H&R Block throughout NJ, including Continental Plaza, located at the intersection of Hackensack Avenue and Route 4 in Hackensack, NJ. The office complex also includes a T.G.I. Friday’s on site. The landlord is MSNW Continental Associates. The company also completed a lease at Riverfront Center on Route 3 in Clifton. The center is anchored by Bed Bath & Beyond, Michaels, Uno Restaurants, The Vitamin Shoppe, Harmon Cosmetics and Rockaway Bedding. The landlord is Mad River Development. In addition, the company completed a lease at Park Ridge Plaza, a strip center on Kinderkamack Road in Park Ridge. Park Ridge Plaza, LLC is the landlord of the Dunkin’ Donuts-anchored center. The Goldstein Group also completed a lease at Firehouse Commons with the landlord, Friedman Firehouse, LLC. The center is located on Livingston Avenue in Livingston and anchors include Walgreens and HSBC Bank. In Ringwood, the company completed a lease at Ringwood Plaza Shopping Center with Ringwood Associates. The CVS-anchored site is located on Skyline Drive. The company completed a lease at 848 Main Street, located in Paterson, with the owner, 848 Main Street Associates. In Caldwell, the company completed a lease at 355 Bloomfield Avenue with the landlord, 351 Caldwell Investors. The company also completed a lease at 848 Paterson Avenue in East Rutherford with Thfirore, LLC, the landlord of the site.

 

Albert B. Ashforth, Inc. (203-324-4844) signed a lease for 9,600 sq.ft. with Moore at 37 Danbury Road in Wilton, CT. The custom built athletic training facility will open in spring 2007.  Moore operates physical therapy and sports training locations in Darien, Fairfield and Stamford, CT.

 

GVA Advantis (407-849-6600) signed a lease for 6,880 sq.ft. with Creative Floors at the Shoppes at Southland in Orlando, FL. The 22,075 sq.ft. strip center is located at 7400 Southland Boulevard in South Orlando near the Florida Mall off Sand Lake Road.

 

Crossman & Co. (407-581-6218) signed a lease for 50,000 sq.ft. with Sweetbay Supermarket at the 407,622 sq.ft. Sumter Landing Town Center in The Villages, FL. The supermarket is scheduled to open fall 2007.

 

Simon Property Group (630-894-0400) signed a lease for 2,067 sq.ft. with SAS Comfort Shoes at Bloomingdale Court in Bloomingdale, IL.

 

Metro Commercial Real Estate (847-412-9898) signed the following leases: 8,000 sq.ft. with Tuesday Morning at Orlando Park Plaza in Orlando Park, IL; 20,087 sq.ft. with PetSmart at Brookside Marketplace in Tinley Park, IL and 2,080 sq.ft. with Jimmy John’s at Plaza Westlake in Glendale Heights, IL.

 

Nassimi Realty Corp. (610-687-0807) signed leases with Kimmling’s Academy of Martial Arts and Laundromat Coin Laundry at the Oakland Park Festival Centre in Oakland Park, CA, located on North Andrews Avenue. Kimmling’s Academy of Martial Arts will occupy a space of 14,100 sq.ft. and the Laundromat Coin Laundry will occupy a space of 5,000 sq.ft. Tenants include Winn-Dixie, Rainbow Apparel, Rent-A-Center, Radio Shack, Bismilia Beauty, Wingloon Chinese Restaurant, Jackson Hewitt Tax Service and Sunshine Chiropractic. The company also signed a lease with a 20,000 sq.ft. K&G Fashion Super Store for phase two of the East Cedarbrook development in Wyncote, PA. The men’s wear store’s opening is slated for summer 2007. Phase one was completed this summer and includes Old Country Buffet, Cold Stone Creamery, LJ’s Total Man, Joyce Leslie, Payless Shoe Source and Sprint Wireless.

 

Fameco Real Estate (610-834-8000) negotiated a lease for a 4,235 sq.ft. Panera Bread bakery-café at the Shoppes at Montage in Scranton, PA. The restaurant is slated to open in March 2007. The 300,000 sq.ft. lifestyle center is anchored by Christmas Tree Shops, Eddie Bauer and The Gap.

 

NAI Isaac (859-422-4401) represented Elkhorn Development Co. in the lease of a 3,300 sq.ft. restaurant space at South Elkhorn Village in Lexington, KY to Bellacino’s Pizza & Grinders and Bella Creamery. The new development is located at the intersection of Harrodsburg Road and Man O’ War Boulevard. Other tenants include Ramsey’s, The Coffee Pub, Village Vineyard, Polka Dot’s and Dragonfly Children’s clothing.

 

GVA Williams (203-324-0800) signed the following leases with The Vitamin Shoppe: a 3,750 sq.ft. endcap location at West Farms Shopping Center in Farmington, CT.  The center is anchored by Borders Books, Linens ‘N Things, The Sports Authority and T.J. Maxx; 4,050 sq.ft. in a freestanding building at 473 Route 211 East near Colonie Center in Middletown, NY; 4,200 sq.ft. in a freestanding location across from Boulevard Mall at 1250 Niagra Falls Boulevard in Tonawanda, NY and a 4,000 sq.ft. freestanding unit across from Orange Plaza at 108 Wolf Road in Albany, NY.

 

NAI Realvest (407-875-9989) negotiated a lease agreement with Tijuana Flats Burrito Co. for 5,204 sq.ft. at South Seminole Center in Longwood, FL on Florida Central Parkway. The lessee plans to open a Tijuana Flats Mexican restaurant.

 

Legend Properties, Inc. (610-941-4034) leased five spaces totaling 20,000 sq.ft. at Burgess Center in Northwest Philadelphia, PA located at the intersection of Wayne Avenue and Chelten Avenue. The company signed leases with Ni’s Ni’s Hair Salon, Max & Dominic’s, Pantry 1, Samson’s Variety Store and Gloria’s Restaurant.

 

Prudential Douglas Elliman (800-ELLIMAN) negotiated a lease with Berman Galleries at 33 East 65th Street in New York, NY.

 

Kimco Realty (516-869-7224) signed the following leases: Havana Breeze for 2,004 sq.ft. at Coral Pointe Shopping Center in Cape Coral, FL; Turner Furniture for 60,293 sq.ft. at Mobile Festival Centre in Mobile, AL; Quest Diagnostics for 1,945 sq.ft. at Foxborough Plaza in Foxborough, MA; Waterford for 37,344 sq.ft. at Holmdel Town Center in Holmdel, NJ; Salon Nails for 1,503 sq.ft. at Pleasant Valley Promenade in Raleigh, NC; Merced Floral for 1,500 sq.ft. at Yosemite North Shopping Center in Merced, CA; Sushi House for 1,600 sq.ft. at Shoppes at Ameilia Concourse in Yulee, FL; Dream Dinners for 2,500 sq.ft. at Downers Grove in Downers Grove, IL; Famous Footwear for 6,500 sq.ft. and El Pollo Loco for 2,900 sq.ft. at Mesa Riverview in Mesa, AZ.

 

GBT Realty Corp. (615-370-0670) signed leases with Independence Bank, Sonic Drive-In and a 10,000 sq.ft. family-style restaurant at the Hoffman Plaza shopping center in Henderson, KY. The 19,200 sq.ft. center is shadow-anchored by Lowe’s Home Improvement and Wal*Mart Supercenter, which is slated to open this month. Other tenants include Aaron’s Sales & Lease, Cingular, New China Buffet and Sun Tan City.
