Lease Signings JBG Rosenfeld Retail (301-657-0700) signed leases with the following retailers at Alexandria Commons, a 146,000 sq.ft. center located on Duke Street, just west of Telegraph Road, in Alexandria, VA: Starbucks Coffee, Quizno’s Sub, Zpizza, Scottrade and Success Lab Learning Center. The center is cotenanted by Mastercraft Interiors, Baja Fresh, Panera Bread, Lone Star Steakhouse and Giant Food.
Friedman Real Estate Group, Inc. (248-848-4940) signed a lease for 12,222 sq.ft. with Powerhouse Gym at the intersection of Whittaker and Joe Hall Drive in Ypsilanti Township, MI.
Coldwell Banker Commercial World Group (402-510-7468) signed a lease for 1,050 sq.ft. with Merle Norman at a center on West Broadway in Council Bluffs, IA. The center is cotenanted by Ashley Lynn Tanning. Merle Norman is a cosmetics studio that sells Merle Norman cosmetic products and gift items such as jewelry, candles, handbags and related accessories. The company also signed a lease for 1,275 sq.ft. with Scrap Happy at Manawa Power Center located near the interchange of Interstate 29/80 and South Expressway in Council Bluffs, IA. Cotenants include CD Tradepost, Complete Nutrition, Heartland Cellular, Mouw Chiropractic and University Gear.
Newmark Retail (212-372-2395) signed a lease for 10,700 sq.ft. with Mothers Work on Madison Avenue in New York, NY. The flagship store will have a large fashion and accessory selection, and will also include an Edamame Maternity Spa. The retailer will be consolidating some of its Motherhood Maternity, A Pea in the Pod and Mimi Maternity brands from a number of Manhattan locations into the flagship Destination Maternity store, which will encompass a portion of the ground, lower and second floors.

(727-384-6000) signed the following leases: 2,000 sq.ft. with Cingular Express Plus and 3,000 sq.ft. with San Francisco Oven at Legacy Place, a center located in Palm Beach Gardens, FL; 4,400 sq.ft. with Carter’s Childrenswear and 2,500 sq.ft. with Caribou Coffee Company at Perimeter Place, a center located in Atlanta, GA; 4,800 sq.ft. with Dots at Target at Kissimmee West, a center located in Kissimmee, FL and 2,450 sq.ft. with The Blitz at Shoppes of Citrus Park, a center located in Tampa, FL.
Commercial Retail Advisors (520-290-3200) signed a lease for 1,350 sq.ft. with Catalina Quilting at Golder Ranch Plaza, a center located on North Oracle Road in Catalina, AZ.
GVA Williams of Connecticut (212-716-3500) signed a lease with HSBC Bank USA at The Corner at Split Rock, an 80,000 sq.ft. center located at the intersection of Old Stratford Road and Bridgeport Avenue in Shelton, CT. The company also signed a five-year lease for 10,226 sq.ft. with The Gym at Bloomfield Crossing at the Bloomfield Crossing Shopping Center on Mountain Avenue in Bloomfield, CT. The company also signed a 10-year lease for 2,000 sq.ft. with Tim Horton’s at the intersection of Route 10 and Route 372 in Plainville, CT.
Mid-America Real Estate-Wisconsin (414-273-4600) signed the following leases throughout WI: 8,000 sq.ft. with Kirkland’s at The Village at Bay Park located in Green Bay; 4,747 sq.ft. with Panera Bread at Century Centre Shopping Center located in Brookfield; 1,870 sq.ft. with Starbucks on Hastings Way in Eau Claire and 2,900 sq.ft. with Fuddruckers on State Street in Madison.
Island Associates (631-982-2100) signed a lease for 1,250 sq.ft. with Subway at Brentwood Shopping Center located on Brentwood Road in Brentwood, NY.
Atco Properties & Management, Inc. (718-326-3560) signed leases with the following retailers at The Shops at Atlas Park, a center located at the intersection of Cooper Avenue and 80th Street in Glendale, NY: 3,919 sq.ft. with Chico’s; 2,375 sq.ft. with White House/Black Market; 2,284 sq.ft. with Gymboree and 8,400 sq.ft. with Shiro’s of Japan. The center will be cotenanted by Regal Cinemas, Coldwater Creek, Bombay Company, California Pizza Kitchen, Aerosoles, Jos. A. Bank, Claire’s, Johnny Rocket’s, ColdStone Creamery, Pasticchio and Stella Gialla.
