Lease Signings
Atco Properties & Management, Inc. (212-687-5154) signed a lease for 22,500 sq.ft. with Borders Books & Music at The Shops at Atlas Park, a 400,000 sq.ft. center located in Glendale, NY. The store also will include a Seattle’s Best café and The Paper Chase, an area which will offer greeting cards, wrapping paper, stationery and assorted gift items. Cotenants include Chico’s, White House/Black Market, Coldwater Creek, Gymboree, Bombay Company, Aerosoles, Jos. A. Bank Clothiers, Johnny Rockets, Claire’s, ColdStone Creamery and California Pizza Kitchen, as well as regional retailers such as Shiro’s of Japan, Pasticcio and fashion boutique Stella Gialla.
Kowit & Passov Real Estate Group (216-514-5100) signed the following leases throughout OH: five years for 1,800 sq.ft. with ColdStone Creamery at Wooster Crossings, a center located on Route 83 in Wooster. Cotenants include Pier 1 Imports, CiCi’s Pizza and Tuesday Morning; five years for 2,253 sq.ft. with Barnum Beauty Systems at Stonegate Shopping Center located at the intersection of Grande Boulevard and Route 42 in Medina; and five years for 2,300 sq.ft. with TNT Tanning at Twinsburg Town Center located at the intersection of State Route 91 and Interstate 480 in Twinsburg. Cotenants include Giant Eagle and Austin’s Steak House. The company also signed the following leases throughout OH: five years for 9,000 sq.ft. with Dollar Tree at Rini Plaza West, a center located on Center Ridge Road in North Ridgeville. Opening is slated for the first quarter of 2006; five years with Knowledge Points at Ridgewood Crossings, a center located at the intersection of Ridgewood Drive and Interstate 77 in Copley Township; five years for 3,184 sq.ft. with Buddy’s Carpet at The Shoppes of Grove City, a center located on Stringtown Road in Grove City. Cotenants include Serta Mattress, Cici’s Pizza, First Choice Hair, Hottie Body Tanning, Quizno’s and Verizon Wireless; five years for 3,200 sq.ft. with Brilliant Learning Centers, a center located at the intersection of Route 42 and Reagan Parkway in Medina. Cotenants include KFC, UPS Store, Verizon Wireless, Gepetto’s and Movie Gallery; five years for 2,100 sq.ft. with TNT Fitness Center, a center located at the intersection of Route 20 and Route 528 in Madison. Cotenants include Dollar Tree, TNT Tanning, Blockbuster Video and Famous Hair; and 20 years for 5,400 sq.ft. with AutoZone in Canal Fulton.
Horizon Realty Services, Inc. (847-870-8585) signed the following leases with Empire Beauty Schools throughout IL: 9,800 sq.ft. at Arlington Plaza, a center located in Arlington Heights and 16,800 sq.ft. at Green Trails Shopping Center located in Lisle. The company also signed the following leases throughout IL: 1,300 sq.ft. with GQ Spa at Creekside Commons, a center located in Buffalo Grove; 5,100 sq.ft. with Dollar Busters Plus at Fretter Plaza, a center located in Bedford Park; 3,850 sq.ft. with Dollar World at Sibley Crossings located in Dolton; 4,324 sq.ft. with Gold’s Gym in Gurnee; and 3,627 sq.ft. with Sikorsky Chiropractic at Tyler Creek Annex in Elgin.
REP Commercial (949-585-7633) signed a five-year lease for 1,197 sq.ft. with Subway and a five-year lease for 1,732 sq.ft. with Mission Video of Montclair at a center located at the southeast corner of Mission and Ramona in Montclair, CA. The center is situated on a land area of 1.28 acres. The company also signed a five-year lease for 2,213 sq.ft. with Thiery Vergnault, a French restaurant and Tappas bar, at Palisades Plaza, a 17,500 sq.ft. center located on Camino de Estrella in San Clemente, CA. The center is currently anchored by Kultured Kitchen, a bakery, chiropractor, skin care store and a mortgage company. The company also signed a five-year lease for 1,193 sq.ft. with I Sold It on eBay at Newport North Shopping Center located at the intersection of Bison Street and MacArthur Boulevard in Newport Beach, CA. The company also signed a five-year lease for 1,200 sq.ft. with Mathnasium of Orange on East Katella Avenue in Orange, CA. The company specializes in teaching students pre-K through 12th grade math skills. The company also signed a 10-year lease for 2,150 sq.ft. with PWS, Inc. at Harbor Plaza Shopping Center, a 4,130 sq.ft. center located at the intersection of Harbor Boulevard and Edinger in Fountain Valley, CA. PWS plans to open a self-service laundry center next month.

(212-869-3000) signed a lease for 27,250 sq.ft. with Ross Dress For Less at Merchants Park Shopping Center, a 241,742 sq.ft. center located on West 11th Street in Houston, TX. Anchors include Kroger, Big Lots, Fallas Paredes, O’Reilly Auto Parts and Regions Bank. The company also signed a lease with Ross Dress For Less at Wynnewood Village Shopping Center, a 464,854 sq.ft. center located on Illinois Avenue in Dallas, TX. The center is anchored by Kroger, Citi Trends, Melrose and Radio Shack.
GVA Williams of Connecticut (212-716-3500) signed a lease with HSBC Bank USA at The Corner at Split Rock, an 80,000 sq.ft. center located at the intersection of Old Stratford Road and Bridgeport Avenue in Shelton, CT.
