Lease Signings


Global Business Alliance, Inc. (407-383-7182) negotiated the following leases: 10 years, 1,360 sq.ft. with Central Nails & Spa at the Estero Commons in Estero, FL and five years, 800 sq.ft. with Crystal Nails at the NorthBridge at Millenia in Orlando, FL. The company also represents clients seeking new locations: a 1,000 sq.ft. Chinese take-out restaurant and nail salon seeking spaces in supermarket anchored strip centers; a 1,500 sq.ft. to 2,000 sq.ft. Asian fast casual restaurant; 1,500 sq.ft. to 2,000 sq.ft. for a Japanese restaurant; 5,000 sq.ft. to 6,000 sq.ft. for a Japanese steakhouse; 7,000 sq.ft. to 8,000 sq.ft. for Pan-Asian fine dining and 8,000 sq.ft. of second-generation restaurant space for Asian/international buffets.

 

Katz & Associates Corp. (800-835-0939) signed two leases with A.C. Moore Arts & Crafts throughout FL. The first store will open at the Kohl’s Center located at the intersection of Atlantic and Kernan Boulevard in Jacksonville. The second lease is for the redevelopment of the Builders Square Building located on International Speedway Drive in Daytona. Opening is slated for Spring 2006. A.C. Moore has five other leases in process throughout FL.

 

WindStar Properties (214-526-2700) signed the following leases throughout TX: 4,200 sq.ft. with Partytime…Anytime at Mansfield Crossing Shopping Center in Mansfield; and 6,560 sq.ft. with Mattress Firm at the intersection of Interstate 20 and Matlock Road in Arlington.

 

Commercial Retail Advisors (520-290-3200) signed a lease for 1,300 sq.ft. with VIP Nails at Old Spanish Trail Marketplace, a center located at the intersection of 22nd and Harrison Road in Tucson, AZ. The company also signed a lease for 1,198 sq.ft. with SW Sun Control Products at Orange Grove Village located at the intersection of Oracle Road and Orange Grove in Tucson.

 

Zell Commercial Real Estate Services, Inc. (602-248-0600) signed the following leases throughout AZ: 1,246 sq.ft. with Cingular Wireless and 1,375 sq.ft. with Sign-A-Rama at Columbia Plaza, a center located on West Camelback Road in Phoenix; 1,106 sq.ft. with Mathnasium at Peoria Marketplace, a center located at the intersection of 75th Avenue and Cactus Road in Peoria; 3,000 sq.ft. with Barracuda Beach Baja Grill at the Oasis at the Islands, a center located on West Elliot Road in Gilbert; and 980 sq.ft. with H&R Block at The Shoppes at Higley Village, a center located on North Higley Road in Mesa.

 

Metro Commercial Real Estate (847-412-9898) signed a lease for 53,322 sq.ft. with L.A. Fitness at Sherman Plaza, a mixed-use center located in downtown Evanston, IL. Opening is slated for Summer 2006. The company also signed a lease for 1,470 sq.ft. with Jimmy John’s Gourmet Subs at Randall Points Plaza in South Elgin, IL. The company also signed a lease for 1,105 sq.ft. with BoRics Hair Care at the intersection of Route 41 and 93rd Avenue in St. John, IN.

 

Fameco Real Estate (610-834-8000) signed a lease for 4,500 sq.ft. with Panera Bread at Brick Plaza 70, a 312,000 sq.ft. center located on Route 70 in Brick, NJ. Opening is slated for September. The center is anchored by Costco, Dick’s Sporting Goods and Christmas Tree Shops. The company also signed a lease for 6,300 sq.ft. with Red Robin at Middlesex Crossroads, a 63,000 sq.ft. center located on Hadley Road in South Plainfield, NJ. Opening is slated for March.

 

The Festival Cos. (310-665-9600) signed the following leases throughout southern CA: 1,660 sq.ft. with MedSpa Boutique; 4,465 sq.ft. with Calico Corners and 1,208 sq.ft. with SuperCuts at Costa Mesa Courtyards, a 171,111 sq.ft. center located at the intersection of Newport Boulevard and Harbor at 19th Street in Costa Mesa; 4,800 sq.ft. with Starbucks at Del Amo Metro, a center located at the intersection of Woodruff and Del Amo Boulevards in Lakewood; and 5,100 sq.ft. with H&R Block at Crenshaw Gateway, a center located at the intersection of Manchester and Crenshaw Boulevard in Inglewood.

 

REP Commercial, Inc. (949-585-7682) signed a five-year lease for 2,213 sq.ft. with Thiery Vergnault, a French restaurant and Tappas bar, at Palisades Plaza, a 17,500 sq.ft. center located on Camino de Estrella in San Clemente, CA. The center is currently anchored by Kultured Kitchen, a bakery, chiropractor, skin care store and a mortgage company.

 

Island Associates Real Estate, Inc. (631-982-2100) signed a long-term lease for 15,600 sq.ft. with CVS at Southampton Center located in Southampton, NY.

 

CB Richard Ellis (858-646-4721) signed two 30-year leases with Home Depot from San Diego Mart valued at more than $90 million for two existing Kmart store sites in San Diego County, CA. The first site, a 116,000 sq.ft. location, fronts Fletcher Parkway in El Cajon. The second site, a 120,000 sq.ft. location, is on Third Avenue in Chula Vista.

 

Mid-America Development Partners, LLC (630-954-7700) signed a lease for 30,000 sq.ft. with Best Buy at Washington Park Plaza, a center located at the intersection of Halsted Street and Ridge Road in Homewood, IL. The center is situated on a land area of 19.2 acres and is currently anchored by Jo-Ann Superstore, T.J. Maxx and Bed Bath & Beyond.

 

Atco Properties & Management, Inc. (718-326-3560) signed leases with the following retailers at The Shops at Atlas Park, a center located at the intersection of Cooper Avenue and 80th Street in Glendale, NY: 3,919 sq.ft. with Chico’s; 2,375 sq.ft. with White House/Black Market; 2,284 sq.ft. with Gymboree and 8,400 sq.ft. with Shiro’s of Japan. The center will be cotenanted by Regal Cinemas, Coldwater Creek, Bombay Company, California Pizza Kitchen, Aerosoles, Jos. A. Bank, Claire’s, Johnny Rocket’s, ColdStone Creamery, Pasticchio and Stella Gialla.
