Goody’s Family Clothing, Inc. trades as Goodys at 383 locations throughout AL, AR, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MO, MS, NC, OH, OK, SC, TN, TX, VA and WV. The family clothing, accessories and shoe stores occupy spaces of 20,000 sq.ft. to 30,000 sq.ft. in malls and power centers. Plans call for 15 openings throughout the Mid-Atlantic, the Midwest, the Southeast and the Southwest during the coming 18 months. Typical leases run 10 years. Specific improvements are required.  Preferred cotenants include Target and Wal*Mart.  Preferred demographics include a population of 30,000 within five miles earning $35,000 as the average household income.
