Exclusives & Leasing Assignments Fameco Real Estate (610-834-8000) is representing The Stop & Shop Supermarket Co., LLC, owned by Ahold USA, for property management of more than 30 Stop & Shop properties in NY and NJ. The properties involved will total more than one million sq.ft. Already under Fameco are several Stop & Shop properties located on Long Island, NY and in NJ.
The Goldstein Group (201-703-9700) has been named exclusive leasing agent for the following four retail properties throughout NJ: Plaza K, a 28,500 sq.ft. center located at the intersection of 171 U.S. Route 1 and Ford Avenue in Woodbridge, NJ, with area retail including Target, Sleepy’s, Best Buy, Bennigan’s, Panera Bread, The Vitamin Shoppe and Raymour & Flanigan; Rockaway Commons, an 87,000 sq.ft. center located at the intersection of Route 46 and Franklin Avenue in Rockaway, NJ, with area retail including Party Fair, Advance Auto, The UPS Store and Hollywood Tans; Russo Plaza, an 18,000 sq.ft. center located on Route 46 West in Parsippany, NJ, with area retail including IHOP, Pathmark and Lone Star Steakhouse; a 6,600 sq.ft. freestanding building located on Pickford Avenue in Phillipsburg, NJ, with area retail including KFC, Big Lots, Burger King and Blockbuster Video.
Metro Commercial Real Estate (610-246-2606) has been awarded the exclusive leasing assignment for the retail component of Hudson Tea, a progressive mixed-use planned community located at the former American headquarters of the Lipton Tea Co. in Hoboken, NJ from Toll Brothers, Inc. Hudson Tea is a master planned mixed-use development with over 1,400 residences, 70,000 sq.ft. of retail space and 1,200 covered parking spaces. The retail component offers ground floor spaces ranging from 3,000 sq.ft. to 30,000 sq.ft. with occupancy scheduled to begin Fall 2008.
Winick Realty Group (212-792-2601) has been awarded the exclusive marketing and leasing assignment for 220,000 sq.ft. at 808 Columbus Avenue in New York, NY. The site is located between 97th Street and 100th Street and will be the first retail development in New York City to offer 220,000 sq.ft. of retail over three contiguous blocks. Lower Level 1 encompasses 80,000 sq.ft. with 20-foot ceilings and Lower Level 2 comprises 80,000 sq.ft. with 20-foot ceilings. Tenants will include a supermarket, local retailers, specialty shops, restaurants, fashion shops and home furnishing and improvement stores. 808 Columbus Avenue, which is currently in development, is expected to be completed in 2008.
