Canyon Gulfside Greenville, LLC is developing Magnolia Park Town Center on Woodruff Road in Greenville, SC.  The 65-acre, 676,000 sq.ft.  retail and entertainment center will feature upscale shops and restaurants and will be anchored by Regal Cinemas, Costco and Rooms To Go.  Opening is scheduled for spring 2008.

Cameron Group, LLC is developing The Gateway, a $380 million mixed-use center in Mission, KS.  The 17-acre, 1.3 million sq.ft. development will have residential, retail, hotel and office space and open entertainment venues.  The project will also have 350 condominiums and row houses for purchase, 500,000 sq.ft. of retail space, 180,000 sq.ft. of office space, a 150-room hotel and an extension campus of Johnson County Community College.  The Gateway is scheduled for completion during summer 2008.

Wulfe & Co. is developing 21 acres of land next to Galleria in Houston, TX.  The development will be called BLVD Place and will be located at the intersection of Post Oak Boulevard and San Felipe.  The development will become a major mixed-use site for retail, office, hotel and condominiums and will be anchored by an 80,000 sq.ft. Whole Foods Market.  The project’s plan boasts 600,000 sq.ft. of retail, restaurant and boutique office space, as well as 800 residential high-rise units and a luxury hotel/condominium.  BLVD Place is set to break ground by the end of this year and open in 2009.

The Richden Co. is preleasing EastGate Plaza, a 19,200 sq.ft. center that will house retail stores, offices and restaurants on Highway 2 in Valparaiso, IN.  Occupancy is expected for this summer, with rent starting at $24 psf.  The site is directly across from Target, Kohls, Menards, Home Depot, Pier 1 Imports, Barnes & Noble and Best Buy.

Fountainhead Development and CB&C Corp. completed the acquisition of approximately 11 acres at the southwest corner of Bear Valley Road and Apple Valley Road in Apple Valley, CA and plan to start construction on Jess Ranch Marketplace. Lee & Associates-Victorville, Inc. acted as broker for seller Jess Ranch Marketplace, LLCin the transaction.  Pending town approvals, Fountainhead Development and CB&C Corp. will add about 85,000 sq. ft. of inline office and retail space plus restaurants to the Jess Ranch Marketplace.  The new commercial space will be built in front of, and to the side, of the existing Target store location.  Inline tenants include 99 Cents Only stores, The Automobile Club of Southern California and PFF Bank & Trust.  Restaurant tenants include Panda Express and Oggis Pizza & Brewery.  The cost of the land and buildings will exceed $24 million.  This is the first of three phases of development at Jess Ranch Marketplace.
