Grubb & Ellis Co. (248-350-8163) hired Patrick Shannon as associate vice president in the investment group of the company’s Detroit, MI office. Shannon has 15 years of commercial real estate experience, including appraisal, financial analysis, consulting, management services, sales, leasing and financing transactions. He began his commercial appraisal completing appraisals and analyses for MI properties, including industrial, retail, office, school and subdivision development. Prior to joining the company, Shannon served as asset manager for Milestone Realty Services. Prior to that, he served as a portfolio manager for the Nemer Property Group, responsible for budgeting, third party contract negotiations, expense reimbursement maximization, managing capital projects and providing portfolio analysis and valuation.

 

Marsh, Inc. (212-345-2448) appointed Scott Allan as leader of its real estate practice. Allan has more than 15 years of experience in insurance and risk management. He joined the company in 2001, after serving as director of risk management for Catellas Development Corp. Previously, he was vice president of risk management for Lowe Enterprises. Before that, he was an insurance manager for the Los Angeles and Santa Barbara campuses of the University of California.

 

Southeast Capital Partners, Inc. (404-504-0500) hired Dan Lussier as managing director. Lussier has over 20 years of diversified real estate development, investment, finance and operations experience. He will be responsible for all day-to-day operations, including leading and facilitating the construction, marketing, asset management and administrative processes of the company. Lussier began his career as senior vice president and chief financial officer with Santa Anita Development Corp. He then went on to manage and negotiate several multi-million dollar developments with Owl Cos., Jack Tarr Cos. and, most recently, DKM International, Inc.

 

Poag & McEwen Lifestyle Centers (901-761-7604) named Dana Migliaccio vice president of the legal department. In this role, Migliaccio will be responsible for providing legal support for the company’s leasing operations and property management areas. She joins Poag & McEwen with an extensive background in leasing, transactional law and operations. Prior to joining the company, she spent three years at Storage USA, where she served as the general counsel and compliance officer. In that capacity, she was responsible for overseeing all legal and compliance affairs of the company.
