Lease Signings


Main Street Property Services, Inc. (925-299-8170) signed the following leases: 120 sq.ft. with Bubola, a store specializing in fine Italian leather handbags and accessories, at Woodcreek/Main Street Plaza on Botelho Drive in Walnut Creek, CA; and 6,281 sq.ft. with Lavande Spa at Lafayette Mercantile on Mt. Diablo Boulevard in Lafayette, CA.

 

JBG Rosenfeld (301-657-0700) signed a lease for 3,900 sq.ft. with Fresco Pomodoro at Free State Shopping Center located on Annapolis Road in Bowie, MD. The 281,000 sq.ft. center is tenanted by Tuesday Morning, Blockbuster Video, AMF Bowling Center, Sakura Japanese Steakhouse, Starbucks, Goodyear Tire and Chevy Chase Bank. The restaurant is slated to open during the summer.

 

Commercial Retail Advisors, LLC (520-290-3200) signed a lease for 750 sq.ft. with The Slot Machine Store at Orange Grove Village Shopping Center located at the intersection of Oracle and Orange Grove Roads in Tucson, AZ. This is a relocation of another The Slot Machine Store in Tucson.

 

Henzlik-Oliver Real Estate Cos., LLC (913-438-9900) signed a lease for 26,264 sq.ft. with Orscheln Farm & Home at Park Lane Shopping Center located in Chillicothe, MO.

 

Robert K. Futterman & Associates, LLC (212-599-3700) signed leases totaling 4,200 sq.ft. with Starbucks and Washington Mutual at 10 Hanover Square located at the intersection of Hanover Square and Pearl and Water Streets in New York, NY. The lease for Starbucks was for 1,350 sq.ft., while the lease for Washington Mutual was for 2,850 sq.ft. The company also signed a lease for 1,750 sq.ft. with Decorfin USA on East 57th Street in New York, NY. The decorative wall finishes and custom wood floorings retailer has two other Manhattan locations, including a showroom at 5 West 20th Street and a retail store at The New York Design Center located on Lexington Avenue. Decorfin specializes in unique decorative wall finishes.

 

Sax Realty, Inc. (240-497-1192) signed the following leases: with Olive Garden and Red Lobster at Winchester Station Shopping Center located on Pleasant Valley Road in Winchester, VA. The center is currently anchored by Borders Books, Circuit City, Linens ‘n Things, Ross Dress For Less, Old Navy and Michaels; with Olive Garden at The Mall at Prince George’s in Hyattsville, MD. The center is currently anchored by Hecht’s, Target and JCPenney; and with Smokey Bones Barbeque & Grill on Prince William Parkway in Woodbridge, VA. The company also signed a lease for 3,600 sq.ft. with Footaction on Columbia Road in Washington, DC.

 

Cohen & Co., Inc. Real Estate (212-679-1222) signed a lease for 22,425 sq.ft. with The Wood Market at Ordnance Plaza, a center located on Ordnance Road in Glen Burnie, MD. The company also signed a lease for 5,000 sq.ft. with Farace’s Racebrook Market at Firelite Shopping Center located on Racebrook Road in Orange, CT.

 

Island Associates (631-982-2100) signed a lease for 6,400 sq.ft. with Island Dollar at Middle Country Plaza, a center located in Selden, NY. Cotenants include 7-Eleven and Subway.

 

McKinley (734-769-8520) signed a five-year lease for 6,888 sq.ft. with Sweet Dreams, Inc. at a Linens ‘N Things-anchored center located on Lake Circle in Fishers, IN. The retailer is a specialty mattress shop. Customers will be able to see beds created. Cotenants at the center include Advance Furniture Outfitters, Buffalo Wild Wings and Factory Card Outlet. The company also signed a lease for 1,400 sq.ft. with Great Clips at JANAF Crossings, a soon-to-be constructed center located in Norfolk, VA. The space is expected to be occupied by the fourth quarter of this year. This hair salon will be the 12th store in Norfolk for Great Clips. The company currently operates 2,400 stores nationwide.

 

The Woodmont Co. (817-732-4000) signed the following leases: 3,300 sq.ft. with CATO for an It’s Fashion store at Tyler Corner Shopping Center located in Tyler, TX and 75,000 sq.ft. with Academy Sports and Outdoors at Sherman Commons Shopping Center located at the intersection of Highway 75 and Loy Lake Road in Sherman, TX. It’s Fashion specializes in trendy attire for young women in girl’s sizes 7 to 16 and young men in boy’s sizes 8 to 20. Academy Sports and Outdoors is slated to open during the fall.

 

Goodman Real Estate Services Group, LLC (216-381-8200) signed a lease with First Watch at Crocker Park in Westlake, OH. The restaurant specializes in breakfast, brunch and lunch. First Watch currently operates 52 restaurants throughout nine states.

 

Metro Commercial Real Estate, Inc. (610-260-2672) signed the following leases: 3,489 sq.ft. with Cosi Restaurant on Chestnut Street in Philadelphia, PA; 8,190 sq.ft. with Rainbow Apparel Company on Penn Street in Reading, PA; 7,200 sq.ft. with Dress Barn at the intersection of Route 1 and Route 40 in Bear, DE; 20,000 sq.ft. with K&G Men’s Center at Cedarbrook Plaza in Cheltenham, PA; 4,591 sq.ft. with Carter’s Children’s Wear at the Shops at Rockaway in Rockaway, NJ; and 1,300 sq.ft. with Starbucks; 14,353 sq.ft. with Rite Aid and 2,400 sq.ft. with Premier Bank at the intersection of Street and York Roads in Warminster, PA.

(407-383-7182) signed the following leases throughout FL: 10 years for 1,500 sq.ft. with Wasabi Sushi at Timber Springs Shopping Center, a Wal*Mart Neighborhood-anchored center located in Orlando; five years for 2,800 sq.ft. with Central Nail & Spa and five years for 1,400 sq.ft. with Bamboo Wok at the Publix at Stoneybrook West Village in Winter Garden; 10 years for 1,875 sq.ft. with East Gourmet at a Wal*Mart Supercenter outparcel at Calypso Commons in Lake Buena Vista; and 10 years for 1,500 sq.ft. with Elegant Nail & Spa at Curry Ford Commons, a Wal*Mart Neighborhood-anchored center located in Orlando.

 

The Katsias Co. (757-490-3585) signed the following leases with Ruby Tuesday: a 1.52-acre ground lease at the intersection of South Hughes Boulevard and Route 17 in Elizabeth City, NC; a 3.55-acre ground lease at KempsRiver Shopping Center in Virginia Beach, VA and a 0.75-acre ground lease at Little Creek East Shopping Center in Norfolk, VA.

The company also signed the following leases with PetsMart: 20,000 sq.ft. at The Garden District Shopping Village in Lufkin, TX; 20,087 sq.ft. at Lincoln Square Shopping Center in North Arlington, TX; 20,000 sq.ft. in Lake Worth, TX; 20,087 sq.ft. at Westover Marketplace in San Antonio, TX; 22,785 sq.ft. at Conroe Village Shopping Center in Conroe, TX; 27,415 sq.ft. at Arlington Highlands in Arlington, TX; 27,000 sq.ft. at Highlands Ranch in Flower Mound, TX; 23,000 sq.ft. at a center in Sherman, TX; 23,000 sq.ft. at Cypress Towne Center in Cypress, TX and 20,087 sq.ft. at Victoria Crossing in Victoria, TX. The company also signed a lease for 20,200 sq.ft. with The Tile Shop at Mid Rivers Plaza in St. Peters, MO.

 

Regency Commercial Associates, LLC (812-424-9200) signed a lease with Banterra Bank at Cross Pointe Commerce Center located just west of Interstate 164 on the Lloyd Expressway in Evansville, IN.

 

Combined Properties, Inc. (202-736-2813) signed leases with Sport Chalet and Babies “R” Us at Foothill Town Center located in Foothill Ranch, CA. The center is situated on a land area of 11 acres and was previously occupied by a 104,000 sq.ft. HomeBase store. Combined Properties recently completed the first phase of development, subdividing the building to accommodate several national retail tenants. Sport Chalet occupies 50,410 sq.ft.

 

The Retail Connection, L.P. (214-572-0777) signed a lease for 2,500 sq.ft. with Cork on McKinney Avenue in Dallas, TX. Cork is a new retail venture created by the Alan and Rick Golman of Quik-way. Cork will be a new approach to educating and retailing high-quality wines to the consumer.

 

New Plan Excel Realty Trust, Inc. (212-869-3000) signed the following leases at Tinley Park Plaza, a center located on South Harlem Avenue in Tinley Park, IL: 1,600 sq.ft. with Batteries Plus; 3,020 sq.ft. with America’s Best Contact and Eyeglasses and 1,960 sq.ft. with AAA Chicago. A lease was recently secured with Great Wraps and the restaurant will occupy space of 2,400 sq.ft.

 

Sansone Group (314-727-6664) signed the following leases throughout MO: 3,200 sq.ft. with Simply Fashions at Plaza on the Boulevard on West Florissant in Jennings and 4,000 sq.ft. with Dress Barn at South Lakeview Plaza located on Lemay Ferry Road in St. Louis.

 

H.I. Libby Corp. (724-935-3433) signed a lease for 12,800 sq.ft. with Old Navy at Boone Mall located in Boone, NC. The mall is currently undergoing a major multi-million dollar renovation.
