Lease Signings


Core Communities (772-340-3500) signed leases with the following retailers at the 185,000 sq.ft. mixed-use development center, Tradition Square, in Port St. Lucie, FL: Regency Dental Center, Sake 2 Japanese & Thai Restaurant, The Clothes Spa, Bagel Brothers of NY, Johnny V’s Pizza Trattoria, UPS Store and Hurricane Grill & Wings.  The Port St. Lucie location will be Regency Dental Center’s fifth location.

 

Preferred Development (312-327-2700) signed a lease for 1,860 sq.ft. with Starbucks at the intersection of North Avenue and Lathrop Street in River Forest, IL.  Opening in slated for December 2006.

 

Developers Realty Corp. (860-561-0121) signed leases with the following retailers at New Town Shops on Main, a 365-acre mixed-use project with 400,000 sq.ft. of retail, 600,000 sq.ft. of office space and 1,000 residential units in Williamsburg, VA: Bonefish Grill, Chico’s, Foot Locker, Journey’s, Kay Jewelers, Norwalk Furniture, Opus Chop House and White House Black Market.  Openings are slated for Spring 2007.  Cotenants include Barnes & Noble, Cheeburger Cheeburger, Consolidated Theatres, Conte’s Bikes, Maggie Moo’s, Old Navy and Salon Vivace.

 

Rose Associates, Inc. (212-210-6666) signed a lease for 1,778 sq.ft. with LensCrafters Optique at The Shops at Peter Cooper Village/Stuyvesant Town in New York City, NY.

 

TriMark Corp. (703-356-8230) signed a seven-year lease for 8,000 sq.ft. with Kool Smiles PC, a national chain providing dental care for children, at South Cherry Plaza in Falls Church, VA.  

 

Charter Realty & Development Corp. (203-227-2922) signed the following leases: 135,000 sq.ft. with Lowe’s in a former Ames space at the Meredian Parkade located in Meredian, CT; 65,000 sq.ft. with Big Y supermarket at Torrington Parkade located in Torrington, CT.  The company also signed the following leases at the San Souci Plaza, a 267,815 sq.ft. center located on Route 23 in California, MD: 8,000 sq.ft. with Design Warehouse; 1,600 sq.ft. with Landmark Financial Services and 1,568 sq.ft. with Contours Express.  Cotenants include Dollar General, Fashion Bug, Food Warehouse, Jo-Ann Fabrics and the US Post Office.  The company also signed leases with the following retailers at Carmans Plaza, a center located on Carmans Road in Massapequa, NY; 62,500 sq.ft. for a Pathmark expansion; 22,000 sq.ft. with Best Fitness Gym and with Dunkin Donuts

 

Vestar (562-938-1722) signed leases with the following retailers at The District at Tustin Legacy, a one million sq.ft. lifestyle and entertainment center, located on the corner of Jamboree and Barranca Parkway in Tustin, CA: Beach Bums Boardshops, Bluewater Grill, Blush Clothing, Chick-fil-A, Cingular Wireless, Claires, Daphne’s Greek Café, Famers & Merchants Bank, Go Roma, Hot Topic, In-N-Out Burger, Michael’s, No Fear, Panera Bread, Sports Clips Haircuts, Sunglass Hut, The Cravery, The Winery, Verizon Wireless, Wells Fargo and Zumiez.  Cotenants include AMC Theatres, Borders Books & Music, Costco, Lowe’s, RA Sushi, Strike Rock & Roll Bowling, Target and Whole Foods.

 

Woodmont Co. (214-824-6091) signed a lease for 18,300 sq.ft. with Cost Plus World Market at Baybrook Gateway located at Interstate 45 and Bay Area Boulevard in Webster, TX.

 

Excess Space Retail Services, Inc. (516-365-6400) signed a lease for 18,971 sq.ft. with Spirit Halloween on 69 West Rand Road in Arlington Heights, IL on behalf of Jo-Ann Fabrics.

 

NAI Olympia Partners (317-264-9400) signed a lease for 3,377 sq.ft. with Massage Envy at the Village Park Plaza in Carmel, IN.
