Lease Signings Fameco Real Estate (610-834-8000) signed a lease for 3,132 sq.ft. with ShapeXpress, a new fitness concept especially for women, at Marketplace at Westtown, a 115,064 sq.ft. center located on West Chester Pike in West Chester, PA. The center is anchored by Clemens Market and Eckerd. The company also signed a lease for 4,100 sq.ft. with a Friendly’s Family Restaurant at Brandywine Town Center, a 900,000 sq.ft. center located in Wilmington, DE. Opening is slated for December. The center is anchored by PetSmart, Lowe’s Home Improvement, Dick’s Sporting Goods, Regal Cinema and Target.
Sax Realty, Inc. (240-497-1192) signed a lease for 17,500 sq.ft. with Gallo Clothing Superstore at St. Charles Towne Plaza, a 400,000 sq.ft. center located at the intersection of Route 301 and Smallwood Road in Waldorf, MD. The center is anchored by Shoppers Food Warehouse, T.J. Maxx, JoAnn Fabrics, K&G Clothing Superstore and Value City Furniture. Area retail includes St. Charles Super Regional Mall. The company also signed a lease with PNC Bank at the intersection of Route 301 and Excalibur Road in Bowie, MD. Area retail includes Ruby Tuesday, Tia’s Restaurant, Wal*Mart and Giant Food. PNC Bank operates approximately 850 banks throughout eight states and Washington, DC.

The Beale Group (248-358-0600) signed the following leases in southeastern MI: four years for 3,222 sq.ft. with Lee Beauty Supply at Country Village Plaza, a center located at the intersection of 12 Mile Road and Evergreen Road in Southfield; and three years with MG Multiservices, Hispanic tax service, and five years with El Pollo Loco at Galloway Plaza, a center located at the intersection of Pontiac Lake Road and Perry Street in Pontiac; with The Barbers Post on West Eight Mile Road in Livonia; with Edible Arrangements on Grand River Avenue in Farmington; with Purpose Financial on West Nine Mile Road in Farmington Hills; with Cottage Inn Pizza at Mack Alter Square in Detroit; with Maria’s Pizza and Ribs on Commerce Road in West Bloomfield; with Jackson Hewitt on Seven Mile Road in Detroit; five years with Supercuts at Wayne Plaza, a center located at the southeast corner of Michigan Avenue and Wayne Road in Wayne; with MetroPCS at Days Plaza located on Grand River in Detroit; three years for 3,751 sq.ft. with Underground Dance Company at Country Meadows Plaza on 21 Mile Road in Warren and with Kristina’s Closet on East Fourth Street in Rochester.

Cotenants include Eckerd, Burger King and a farmer’s market; with The Great Frame Up at Holmdel Plaza located on Route 35 in Holmdel. Cotenants include Kohl’s, T.J. Maxx, Wachovia, Harmon Cosmetics and EB Games; with Massage Envy at Shrewsbury Plaza on Route 35 in Shrewsbury. Cotenants include Acme Supermarket, Marshalls, A.C. Moore and Linens ‘n Things; with Bullseye Flooring at Landing Shopping Center located on Lakeside Boulevard in Landing. Cotenants include Pathmark and Wachovia; and with Ed K’s Sporting Goods at Pine Plaza located on Route 10 in Whippany. Cotenants include Pathmark, CVS, The Melting Pot, Tuesday Morning, North Fork Bank, Bensi Restaurant and the UPS Store.
Mid-America Development Corp. (630-954-7700) signed lease agreements with Target, Home Depot and Kohl’s at Kendall Marketplace, a planned 800,000 sq.ft. center located at the intersection of U.S. Highway 34 and Cannonball Trail in Yorkville, IL. Target plans to open a 185,000 sq.ft. Super Target, while the planned Home Depot will occupy space of 101,000 sq.ft. and Kohl’s will build an 85,000 sq.ft. store. The first stores are slated to open at the center during spring 2008.
Starfire Retail (410-472-1356) signed a lease with The Perfumery, a retailer of perfume, perfumed lotions, skin care products, cosmetics, candles and related accessories, at Security Square Mall, a 1.1 million sq.ft. regional mall located in Baltimore, MD. Anchors include Hecht’s, Sears, Burlington Coat Factory, Old Navy, Cactus Willies Steak Buffet & Bakery, Seoul Plaza, Modell’s Sporting Goods and AMC Theatres.
CENTDEV Properties (704-895-1535) signed a lease for 38,000 sq.ft. with Bloom supermarket located at the intersection of Regent Parkway and Highway 21 in Fort Mill, SC. The concept, which is Food Lion’s new store concept, will be the anchor tenant for Regent Town Center. The center will also include three outparcels and approximately 15,000 sq.ft. of small shop space. Once completed, Regent Town Center will have a GLA over 70,000 sq.ft. and will be situated on a land area of 9.5 acres.
Sansone Group, Inc. (314-727-6664) signed a lease for a 1.14-acre outlot with Sonic Restaurants at Buzz Westfall Plaza on the Boulevard in Jennings, MO. The company also signed a lease for 1,400 sq.ft. with Hair Etc. at Hilltop Village Shopping Center located in Eureka, MO.
