Headwater Retail Developers, LLC (207-730-0181) has been formed by Rod Geant, Robert C.S. Monks and Timothy O’Neil to develop real estate occupied primarily by national and regional retailers. The company will provide services on a fee or consulting basis and is part of a network of affiliated real estate development entities doing business throughout the eastern U.S. Geant was formerly senior vice president of real estate and construction for PetSmart, where he added approximately two million sq.ft. annually in both U.S. and Canadian markets. He also was senior vice president of Hannaford Bros. Co., where he was responsible for all aspects of new store development, including entry into new markets. Monks and O’Neil have developed more than 2,500 units of affordable housing and $250 million of residential, commercial and retail property over their 30 years in the industry.
