Lease Signings Landmark Properties Group (724-443-9000) signed a lease with Ollie’s Bargain Outlet for a 34,000 sq.ft. space at Shawnee Square Shopping Center in Chillicothe, OH. Ollie’s will anchor the 154,000 sq.ft. center and is slated to open in April.
DLC Management Corp. (914-406-7658) negotiated a 45,000 sq.ft., 10-year lease with Dick’s Sporting Goods at University Place Shopping Center in Carbondale, IL. The store is scheduled to open fall 2007. The company also arranged a 3,667 sq.ft., 10-year lease with Justice Just for Girls at Spring Valley Marketplace in Spring Valley, NY. The stores offer fashions for girls ages seven to 14 years. The company also signed a 10-year lease extension with Dunham’s Sports at Century Square Shopping Center in West Mifflin, PA. The store will be moving to a 28,000 sq.ft. location from its original 18,000 sq.ft. space, and is opening in spring 2007. DLC Management also arranged a 24,000 sq.ft., seven-year lease with Steve & Barry’s at Fort Steuben Mall in Steubenville, OH.
GBT Realty Corp. (615-370-0670) signed leases for 5,500 sq.ft. with Rack Room Shoes and for 4,500 sq.ft. with Rue21, both at The Crossings of Decatur in Decatur, AL. Located at the intersection of Highway 31 and Highway 67, the center is anchored by Target, Ross Dress for Less, PetSmart and Old Navy. Opening of the center is slated for October. The company also signed a 10,100 sq.ft. lease with Cracker Barrel at Hoffman Plaza in Henderson, KY. The center is anchored by Lowe’s Home Improvement and Wal*Mart Supercenter.
Paul Hemmer Cos. (859-578-1804) signed a lease with Talk of the Town for a store at Burlington Crossing in Burlington, WI. In addition, the company signed leases with Dollar Tree for 7,950 sq.ft. and Fashion Bug for 6,500 sq.ft. at the center. Burlington Crossing includes 28,000 sq.ft. of retail space. Area retailers include Wal*Mart and Tractor Supply Co.
Sperry Van Ness (949-225-1883) completed a 20-year, $4.11 million lease with Wawa for a 4,000 sq.ft. property in Bethlehem, PA. The convenience store will also include gas pumps on the 1.77-acre parcel. The company represented the owner, Broad & Stefko, LLC. Wawa, Inc. represented itself.
NAI MLG Commercial (262-797-9400) negotiated a 1,400 sq.ft. lease with Marble Slab Creamery, Inc. for a location in Sturtevant, WI at the intersection of Highway 20 and Highway H. The company represented the owner, Spectrum Development Group, LLC. The company also negotiated a 5,900 sq.ft. lease with Steiner & Associates, Inc. for a BD’s Mongolian Grill location at Bayshore Town Center in Glendale, WI. NAI MLG Commercial represented BD’s Mongolian Grill.
Cushman & Wakefield of New Jersey, Inc. (800-376-3133) negotiated a 12,000 sq.ft. lease with Coleman Tile on Woodbine Street in Bergenfield, NJ. The company represented the lessee while David Hirschman Realty represented the owner, Piermont Properties, Inc.
Metro Commercial Real Estate, Inc. (610-246-2606) brokered a 25,000 sq.ft. lease for K&G Fashion Superstore at Shore Mall in Atlantic City, NJ. The company represented the lessee in the transaction. The company also negotiated leases with FedEx Kinko’s for a 2,000 sq.ft. location at Strafford Center in Wayne, PA; a 1,675 sq.ft. space on Market Street in Philadelphia, PA and a 2,000 sq.ft. location at Midway Plaza in Wilmington, DE. Metro Commercial represented FedEx Kinko’s in the transactions. In addition, the company negotiated a 29,250 sq.ft. lease for a NAMCO location at University Plaza in Christiana, DE.
Branded Concept Development (212-260-5210) completed a 10-year lease with Zen Palate for 2,000 sq.ft. on Lexington Avenue in Manhattan, NY. The company represented Zen Palate while Solil Management represented the landlord. The Asian vegetarian cuisine concept has locations in Westbury, Long Island, NY, as well as two other Manhattan locations.
Michael Salove Co. (215-568-2600) completed two leases on behalf of QuikDrop in North Wales, PA and Bear, DE. In North Wales, the 2,016 sq.ft. store will be located at General Hancock Shopping Center on Upper State Road. QuikDrop signed a five-year lease with General Hancock Partnership Enterprises, LP. In Bear, QuikDrop signed a five-year lease with DelleDonne & Associates to occupy a 1,600 sq.ft. location at Governor’s Square Shopping Center on Quintile Road. The company also completed a lease with Quiznos in Burlington, NJ. Representing the lessee, the company negotiated a 10-year lease for a 1,905 sq.ft. location at Burlington Mall on Mount Holly Road. Jager Management, Inc. represented the landlord.
Rose Associates, Inc. (212-210-6666) completed a 10,873 sq.ft. lease with Walgreens at The Shops at Peter Cooper Village/Stuyvesant Town in Manhattan, NY. Staubach Retail Services represented Walgreens in the signing of the 15-year lease. The company also completed an 800 sq.ft. lease with Papyrus on Broadway in Manhattan, NY. Rose Associates represented the landlord and Northwest Atlantic Partners represented Papyrus. The store will open this year.
